Today we are celebrating Yaya Jera's birthday! She has been helping me take care of Scottie since he was just a few months old and we are very thankful to have her with us here at home. She's one of Scottie's favorite people, so we really made sure she felt loved and special.
I picked out pieces I thought she would really like and put them together in a pink box that I had Scottie give her. After that, we ordered some yummy dishes for lunch and merienda (that Scottie had his hands all over!) It was a simple celebration, but a meaningful one for the entire #skyfam!
We also took Scottie to the doctor's today for his monthly vaccinations, and I finally had some mama time in the afternoon when I went to Facial Care Cebu! It was a challenge for me to step out of the house (cases in Cebu are rising so badly!), but I'm glad I found the courage. I felt so safe in the center because they had such strict safety protocols and they were all vaccinated. Now, after 3 sessions, I feel like myself again! A little self-care goes a long way.
