Empire gets just as many viewers as The Walking Dead on TV right now. It's the 4th most viewed show in primetime on network tv with roughly 14 mil a week. gerald wicks Both he and Jussie are now signed to Columbia. It is true that the music created for the show is not their property but that is not a big deal. They are not paying out of pocket for studio time, for Timbaland's product, or anything else. It isn't like Columbia is going in and pulling their personal music and using it. LOL This is a decent situation for them. They are getting exposure and getting paid at the same time. Columbia would not have noticed them if they had not done this and they probably would have never gotten the opportunity to work with Timbaland.

December 29th, 2017 - I had to check him out because I just started watching Empire's Season One and this show is lit! The lyrics he spits on the tv show, it could've been written by Dr. Dre himself, Yazz brings it to life with his flare. And he sounds just as good IRL. Can't believe it took me nearly three years to see this work of cinematic perfection.
