Hi, if I make these the day before an event should I refrigerate them over night or let them sit out ? Also, how many day before an event should I start the process to make these candy apples. (23rd is the event)

I would say start the 20th but if u make a day before put in fridge overnight. 3 days before will be good to prep

Any gel food coloring will work always use a Little white gel coloring to help enhance the colors

No not sticky at all... You can do same day or day before and refrigerate.

That’s what I need my home is very hot 🥵 this days like 112 degrees they practically melt in table I have to put them in the fridge what a nightmare

You don't have to but when you do add the flavor it does make it taste really really good Lol... your preference , to me it makes the Apple juicier when you bite into it LOL but that could just be me.

How did u get the apples to dry ? The apples i done i left in a cool place for the whole night and they are still so sticky.

If your apples are sticky you may need to check your recipe... My Apples dry in like 2 minutes literally never sticky ...

So let’s say you don’t have a “dummy apple” will all that blue coloring dry hard? Just wondering if the blue will make my cello bag sticky....

Depending on how much food coloring you used it may make the bag sticky. I always try to save one apple as a dummy when it comes to marbling.

How does your candy stay warm for so long?? I'm barely able to get 3 to 4 apples before it's too cool/ hard to use.

Really... I have no idea, I dip till can't no more lol.. But sometimes if I have a big order, I do turn my temperature down to mid low and leave the pot on the stove while I'm Dipping so it doesn't burn but keeps the candy from getting thick.

I actually like using off brand granulated sugar Publix brand or Walmart Brand even Target brand ... I don't like Dixie Sugar, I used a couple of times and had complaints from customers.
