Honestly what I feel is you should be able to activate rage whenever and toggle it, and depending on how much rage you have is how long your time stop is. I also feel that the worlds timestop should be 7 or 8 seconds compared to star platinums 5 to 6 second timestop because dio could stop time longer than jotaro in the first place, and since the world has less moves than star platinum saying that they are the same stand, I believe that the worlds time stop should be longer.

The world has actually the same amount of moves. Star platinum has inhale, star finger, stand jump, Ora kicks, rage mode, time stop, and time skip. The world has time skip, time stop, rage mode, kick barrage, stand jump, knives, and road roller. Which if you count is 7 moves each.

I actually think it's probably supposed to be 6 seconds, it's just that in the older versions, SP, TWAU and TW actually did have a 9 second TS, and they never did change it, since they though it wasn't necesary, because the rage bar drained very fast.

Yeah I can clearly remember when they did this update. It was supposed to prevent waiting until your rage was just about to end and then being able to have a full TS still, but it was balanced out by giving rage damage during TS. Seems like the TS duration was always just bugged though, and I presume if you were to TS instantly it would've been the same 9ish second timestop, but if you waited until the last second it would end practically instantly.

Eclipse, if you use rage then turn off ur stand n turn it back on ur rage aura is removed so u can sneak rage and ppl wouldnt know. Pretty sure the same for sptw where it removes the effects etc

Honestly in my personal opinion the rage bar stands shouldn’t even require rage to use TS especially for TW and TWAU those two should be able to freely TS for 5 seconds without requiring rage and SP should probably have a health cap like fro example When you are under 45% HP you can freely TS for as long as you live this goes away when you die but you can TS again when you are low enough

Apologies, but that would create some balancing issues opposing the side of TWAU's more spammable knives and SP's capability of blinding people after the TS. Like TWOHS overwrite.

IKR! Tw and TWAU shouldn’t need rage as in both anime and manga they stopped time without a single problem. It was always Sp that needed some sort of pressure or something to be able to use timestop there is literally no reason to have rage on fucking TW and TWAU especially since the only thing The World is really known for is timestopping and it doesn’t do that at all it’s just utterly useless to even timeskip inside of time stops because it would cancel the timestop that you build up so much rage for it’s honestly so retarded on why TW and TWAU aren’t able to timestop freely especially since they are the ones to actually first use timestops. This is completely ridiculous YBA needs more updates more balances more bug fixes more better anti cheat and maybe even a fucking SCR rework because that shits broken af. Honestly I reckon that the YBA developers just make it worse when they decide to balance the game and it’s true! Golden Experience Requiem is the best example to this it was once the most highly rated and broken stand then it was completely thrown in the garbage I personally think that this comment is right in every way this should be added rage shouldn’t be required to the world because then it would make it more like the anime and more accurate to the anime which would ultimately make the game better.

I feel like it’s a similar situation to how Hamon was back then, where the bar would be inconsistent in the duration regardless if the player had maxed out on the duration or not. I have a feeling it might be with the server and lag spikes from some players because every time I’d join in Main Game or SBR, the Hamon bar would go willy nilly and last for 4 seconds rather than the full 13 seconds.

Personally I think that not being able to use Time skip during rage balances the rage mechanic (at least for star platinum bc TW kinda suck) In rage, not only is your damage output for your stand heavily increased, but you also take way less damage. This puts you in a situation where you prioritize dealing damage and being tanky, but sacrifice your best evasive. But, like I said, this is just a big nerf to TW because he doesnt have nearly much damage output as SP so Uzu pls buff tw. Edit: Completely forgot about TWAU and CD lol

Besides the seperate ts key maybe you could revert ts back to what it was for sp tw and twau which was that the amount of rage you had left was your ts and you could ts for about those 9 sec and add a ts cap at around 5 sec (max upgrade for ts) without rage.

4:40 i actually knew that fact since the introduction of this game back when the story mode stopped at abacchio and i always found it weird how people don't get the benefits of rage mode increased strengh than at the end use the rage bar use TS since the duration didn't decrease or anything. i am surprised that it is discovered this late tbh aprobably because people always immediately use TS cause it is an insta win so why waste time but in competitive sense using it the only way when waiting for rage bar to get low and than TS for the same amount so yeah if they made it the way you said where it is Rage mode damage increase vs the TS duration that would be a good game design

As i remember, in old yba where vampirism was still boosting dmg, tw and sp had 7 and a half seconds timestop on maxed, and sptw had 6 seconds on maxed. I miss this time when everyone was telling me to get sptw instead of tw and i was telling everyone that cooldown of ts of sptw for 6 seconds is longer then time i getting rage back for 8 seconds ts of tw. I was the only one using it actually and right. Even was fighting standless only time stop

the rage ts in the og is actually longer than 6 seconds because it instantly uses the entire rage bar for timestop instead of defined by how long the rage bar lasts

The rage bar being tied with the ts would be nice however if u activate rage then ts there is a gap where their Is less rage meaning u can never get a full ts. So unless they find some way to prevent that ido how any tw/sp mains will have a full ts.

tbh tw's and sp's time stop should be 5 second long no matter what if you don't have rage, but if you do then it should go up to about 9 seconds for tw and prob the same for sp (dio greatest high could stop time for 9 seconds)

8:55 From a coding perspective, all uzu has to do is: TotalStoppedTime * %RageBar that is full (0 to 1) Example: 5s * 1 = 5s (With a full rage bar it stays the same) Example2: 5s * .5 = 2.5s (With half a rage bar it cuts the amount of time stopped in half) As I'm not sure now the constant rage works exactly, I will assume that each node decreases drain by 10% so the new one would be: TotalStoppedTime * (%RageBar + .1x) x being each constant rage node

its so true tho normal star plat - SPTW - TW and TWOH normally able to stop time 9-10 seconds mark but in the game its so stupidly differend and not right about the stand and the rage bar can be the worst skill ( or something) we able to see i mean the time stop stands main skill is time skip and time stop its so stupid both of them at the same key that you say and you so right about it we need both for escaping or attacking H for the time stop best we can think but cant get and they need to make you mod ._. you are the best channel we able to see for yba keep going man :)

fun fact - star platinum with rage and hamon can do 2.3 per barrage which is the most damage from a barrage obtainable in casual mbr and 2nd highest barrage in the game and to top tht off it has star finger ora kicks(cap at 3.1 (;-;)) and ts

i got a dumb idea but i well say it the idea is that they take out the rage modes but there well be counted time stop seconds what i mean is every time you time stop seconds go slower but if you use a move or m1 etc its going to count a normal second but the rage mode stands should have low seconds in ts then the twoh and sptw seconds

I think you immediately have to activate the timestop upon activating rage. That made the bar go down slower and used up the actual duration of the timestop

The world and star platinum used to have 9 second ts in old yba, back when boxing didnt have barrage cooldown. Very good stands.

Before the rage stands timestop's used to last 9 seconds but the devs decided to make TS drain more rage

i think that it will be cool when the tw has stopped time to have changed e from barrage to a combo of 2 fast kicks and knives but not have the knife only move anabled at all

Eclipse I 90% agree and here’s why.. First I agree that TW and TWAU should have 7-8 seconds of ts but since the game is based off the anime Star Platinums ts should still stay the same considering that fact that jotaro when he killed dio didn’t have as long as a ts than dio did.

Honestly for any sptw in any game I belive the ts should be a low cool down and small time stop By small I mean a 3-4 second ts that can be activated instantly it adds more tactics to using ts instead of funny ts that is free hit mania

the glitch is probably due to the old rage ts system since before u would get 9 secs but ut would instantly use all your rage not go done slowly

its also incredibly annoying when you pop rage and they just run away sine you cant catch up to them with time skip and then you use ts to end up getting like 5 damage

so i have tw:au and the wiki says it has a ts of 5 sec but for some reason my ts only lasts for about 2 sec(on max) and sometimes its just ends right when the dialogue is over kinda irritating ts is my most favourite out of them all

Make it so tht sp needs rage to active timestop and the length depends on the rage with minimum being 4-5 seconds to max being 7-9 seconds. The world on the other hand can timestop freely and the length being the same as now which is 6 seconds. When rage is activated the timestop length can increase from 6 seconds to maybe 7-9 seconds.

Or where the rage mode is kinda like how the stand is enraged it should have a longer time stop than normal so you can time stop without having to have rage mode but it’s shorter but with rage mode active it makes it where (the part just passed where is said the world should be able to time stop but with rage longer lol)

What if they turn the rage bar into a meter with segments. Like it wont go up at all until you do a certain amount of damage and then one of the segments completely fills up. if you fill the first bar you get like 3.5 seconds of ts, the second gets you 5, the third gets you 7 and the last gets you 8. the animation alone freezes you for a good 2 seconds so the first bar gets you 1.5 seconds to probably use like one free move and the rest progressively give you more with the fourth segment giving you 6 seconds to operate in time stop. I didn't really polish the times so they might not sound great but a segmented rage bar that gives you a set amount of ts time depending on the effort you take to fill it could make sense.
