He is know as the warrior king. I almost concocted everything he planed but ended up killed by his men (soldiers). It is only Karl XII, Napoleon and Hitler that has been foolishly and made enough to try to take the control of Moskva in a battle. All of them failed and ended up losing the respect of their man and their countries

Proud to be Swedish when I hear Erik and Tommy!🇸🇪🇸🇪❤️‍🔥🎶❤️‍🔥🎶 Sabaton always singing about the Swedish war history. As you maybe know, Tommy still plays in Sabaton, but he has leave for his own project. Erik has been the lead singer for Swedish H.e.a.t from 2010- 2020. And he also was the winner of Swedish Idol 2009.🎶🏆🎶

Rex means king in Latin! And Karl or in English Charles is Carolus in Latin!

CAROLUS REX is latin for "King Charles" or in swedish "Kung Karl". Karl is one of the most common names for our kings but the most famous was number 12. He was a skilled millitary and won lots of lands and was the start of a great time for Sweden. Nowday often used for right-wing politics. When Sabaton first performed the song, many (mainly the left side) who knew nothing about them were very upset because Karl XII is a politically charged personality. Sabbaton were called racists - only because they wrote about one of the most powerful kings we ever had.

karl the twelve, brutaly translated.. last royalty atleast in europe to go to battle with his men. in the war he the royals create.. still to this day.. roughly thinking.. this song is so good in swedish..
