Much has been left out about Sarah Ware. I have written a book on her murder :"Echoes from the Past" Cheryl Leach Cairns. It was my daughter when she was a teen ager saw her ghost by silver Lake, It was this incident which prompted us to research her death. It was after the occurance that she began to have dreams of what Sarah looked like. We disovered the dreams were very spot on. With almost five years of research my book was finally written, and published in 2004, with the second book in progress. The two books tell much about Sarah's life and death. When my daughter and I went to the lake an errie incident happened that prompted us to continue our research.

there is also a quick shot of Bucksport in the old Pet Semetary movie......... its very brief. Its seen in the background as the truck leaves a town right prior to killing Gage, that very next shot where Gage gets hits by the truck is about 80 mies or so away in Hancock maine. I used to drive by the Pet Semetary home once a week on Point Rd to Crocker Country House Bed and Breakfast to deliver pepsi there. Was always a eerie feeling popping the little knoll as you nose dive down to where Gage was on the road there........... in a Tractor Trailer nonetheless at that. lol

Cool facts, I did not realize that the film was shot briefly in Bucksport. And yes I imagine the drive could get eerie, especially on a rainy night. Appreciate you watching and for adding some additional info to the vlog!

Thanks for the great comments. I couldn't believe that foot on the grave...it was crazy. And the Sara Ware story is also both crazy and sad. They literally kept the skull In storage until 1998 and the murder is still unsolved. You can find a couple good books about it here in Maine. The storms at the end of the day were pretty intense. Hail wind , it was like the spirits were telling us it was time to go. Thanks for watching!

I grew up in the yellow house, right above the buck cemetery, believe me or not, but me and my whole family believe it’s haunted. I ruined my grandparents marriage. And inevitably when my grandmother died, my grandfather sold it to a nice young couple. Their marriage also failed. The husband became abusive and addicted to alcohol, the wife moved away from him, and the house took the kids, and he killed himself, I heard he killed himself in the house. It’s the house called 17 McDonald street. It looks completely different now than it did when I grew up in it. There are lots of weird encounters growing up there. We always heard, laughing upstairs objects, would move chairs and would flip. I love Bucksport, but that spots cursed.

“Red okra?” You’re killing me.. ochre is pronounced ‘oak-er’. Okra is a plant, ochre is a mineral.

Thanks for the science lesson! Okra is breaded, minerals are not...got it! 😆 Thanks for watching and commenting!
