If anyone had created the Shigaraki that we know, it's Shigaraki's dad. He tried to reject his mother, who was the #1 hero during her time, couldn't forgive the fact that she put him up for adoption, and when he found out his son, Shigaraki wanted to be a hero... he just abused him and tried to deprive him from being a hero.

It is a very good series! It isn’t focused on fights as much as other Shonen series, but I like that. We get to know the characters better and when fights happen they make sense in the narrative. The villains are also written amazingly. I also like the politics of the world as they have a lot of similarities to our own. The main issue is the fan base, but most fans are pretty normal. It is just that the crazy ones get the most attention.
