Sup y'all. 2023 was crazy. Not in the development sense, but how much DIDN'T get done, because I was too busy collecting gemmys. As of recent, progress on the mod has been way higher than almost the entirety of 2023. So with this, we've decided to give this little spoiler for the new up and coming song Dynamics. Composed by ‪@YourAverageMental‬, this song sports a variety of wild visuals, all coded by the one and only ‪@T5mpler‬. We hope you enjoy this little food for the thought while we continue working on the mod. This is probably going to be the most important update for a while, and it may take a while longer to complete, so bare with us. This update is going to be more story focused, and try to connect each song together more, rather than just throw you in a freeplay menu with a bajillion songs, and will pave the way for future updates. After 1.5 however, updates will be smoother and hopefully come out a lil quicker. See you soon!

Something no one's mention is just how optimized every thing look. Everything loads super fast, both the menus and the song, and even with the filter, transitions and effects the game still runs without a hitch. I know this doesn't seem that interesting but I'm pretty sure that Gapple runs on a fork of Kade Engine (or just a super modified Base Game engine) which just blows my mind considering just how old and un-optimized those are. Overall just a round of applause to the coders, y'all did well :]

The truth is, the old mods with the kade engine were fucking uncomfortable to play because of how poorly optimized they were, and knowing that this mod uses the same engine (so lately it was no longer used) It is very well optimized and comfortable to play without problems, every day Golden Apple is advancing and that surprises me. I hope it's worth the wait
