@@danielrierson6683 SmackDown! was going to shit, not the company... After Brock left, Benoit went to Raw and Kurt Angle had another surgery, the SD! brand got worse and worse. They should've kept the belt with Eddie or give The Undertaker his first (and WELL DESERVED) long run as a champion, but instead they decided to bet on the new JBL gimmick... But the Raw brand was stacked and had a lot of good moments the whole year.
@carlocacho5733

@@GabrielLimaHere JBL wasn't bad for a brief top heel but they dragged his run too long and wasted the SD roster which was just a stacked as RAW's without Lesnar, with Eddie, Taker, Cena, Rey, RVD, Booker, Big Show with Kurt in the sidelines with mid carders such as Rikishi, Renee, Carlito, Ultimo Dragon, Chavo, Hardcore Holly, Billy Gunn, Charlie Haas, Matt Morgan, Luther Reigns and Orlando Jordan. They could have had so many good moments as Raw's but the storylines were butt save a few. They missed out on pushing RVD to the top and have him up there contending with JBL, Eddie, Taker, Booker and Show while Kurt comes back to form and Cena still sky rockets to the top before heading to Raw

The Greatest Year in Ruthless Aggression Era History: March 31, 2003 - March 14, 2004. 2004 as a whole had thee best storylines and segments. Chris Benoit winning the Royal Rumble Match and WrestleMania XX plus 2 World Tag Team Championship Reigns with Edge. Randy Orton remains the Youngest World Heavyweight Champion Ever by way of winning at Summerslam. A lot of debuts and returns occured in 2004.

Super underrated year. I don't care what anyone says or what their opinions of. The year had memorable like Eddie Guerrero became the WWE Champion when he defeated Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit captured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX when Madison Square Garden was erupted and him and Eddie hugged as champions, Randy Orton becoming the youngest world champion at age 24, JBL being the longest-reigning WWE Champion on SmackDown, Evolution turns on Randy Orton after Orton won the WHC at SummerSlam, 2 5-star bouts, etc.

SmackDown at that time was poor and terrible. All of their PPVs are bad and had a sucky roster and you know it. At least Eddie Guerrero saved the brand. Especially he won the WWE Title at No Way Out and JBL also saved the brand as well. Despite Eddie, Bradshaw, and Angle, 2004 had to be SD's worst year. If you don't know, now you know.

Unfortunately, this series of videos have become mostly about ppv match results rather than storyline summaries. So much context is glossed over to the point that it's almost impossible to recall the show's overall quality that year. I say either increase the video's length or don't worry about mentioning less important matches and focus on the main feuds.

How anybody can argue losing the two biggest stars of all time somehow improves your product is beyond me.

Thank you man and please continue this series of describing WWE on yearly basis because this is a very rare and unique video series on KZfaq. I wish you do something like this on WCW from 1995 to 2001. And TNA from 2005 to 2012. For both series chose this similar video format that is one video on one year of that show. TNA was actually good in that era.

Idk if this be up here for "The WWE in 2005 a year in review" but these are some facts and this is the only thing I'm thinking about so here goes.... "2005 was an excellent year for WWE. In the world of Video Games Microsoft Released the Xbox 360. On the Internet KZfaq begun to be the most viewed watching platform around the Globe. And in the WWE we had some good, some bad and a big lost emotionally. But how did it all happen? So join us today as we be look back from start to finish in The WWE in 2005 a year in review." It's the best I got.

Can't wait for the 2005 year in review. The royal rumble match, the greatest botch in all of wrestling. Seriously they should of just ran with it instead of having old man Vince blow his quads.

I feel like it’s weird that the undertaker didn’t win more world championships than he did, but he wasn’t one to hold the business hostage like triple H. He definitely could’ve beaten Ric’s record of total WWE world championships won but good on him for not doing so, he definitely would’ve gotten the support of fans.

I feel like when we were younger , undertaker superseded the belts , because he was a top dog belt or not his story lines were always top notch

@@StreetStoriesEnt sometimes the belt needed taker more than he needed the belt. Undertaker was the year round attraction for the wwe, he IS The standard. (Not disagreeing with you, I completely agree. My brother was terrified of undertaker and I loved him)

Why was Paul bearer written off TV like that? The last time I remember seeing Paul was in 2011 with the edge and Kane feud.
