the fact that yebbas’ heartbreak is dedicated to her mom that committed suicide is truly heartbreaking. you hear stories about parents losing their kids to it but imagine your parent doing it. you can really hear her heartbreak here. probs to drake for getting her on his album and giving her a chance to express her feelings. yebba changing that last line hits so hard, it’s like she’s really speaking to her mother, hoping she’s up there listening.
