Mine does not want to show up in the app... the other 4 regular lamps i have do, but this one won't. :(

I had to update the firmware for the lamp in the Yeelight mobile app. Then make sure the LAN control is on

Does the type c cable need to be connected to the pc for audio

No you have to use software for that.

I'm wondering if I can use these with Chroma if I'm not on a wifi network... (connected directly to router)

Unfortunately no. I use my pc on a router but I had to use a Wifi connection to initially set them up
