A soak in warm water might raise it slightly ye but I don't actually know if that's the case I do however know that drinking a hot drink on a hot day is the best way to cool down. It legitimately works, it makes your body temperature regulate itself because you're way too hot so you go up from the drink then you start going down and below what you were before

Every time I'm working dishwasher: "are you not wearing non-slip?" I've only worked at one place where the manager understands that even non-slip shoes can slip if the floor is wet enough.

I got yelled at for wearing my regular shoes regularly. One shift I wear non-slips? I slip and fall RIGHT ON MY ASS. They still yell at me so I still wear the non-slips and every time I slip in the back I tell them exactly why I did

The walk in coolers are definitely not sound proof, on the other hand the walk in freezers are very insulated and can be a scary place where no one will ever know you're there

Here in Vegas, as soon as you clock in, you go right to the walk-in for a few minutes just to cool off from the heat! The freezer is my most favorite place. It's therapy, cooling, and where I hit my vape, or sneak a much needed Red Bull.

Bro I did that once and it was when I was a server in an assisted living facility, I cannot tell you how rude and disrespectful old white people are, one lady was happy when she bullied another lady so badly she was in tears all because this lady was new to the building and sat in the other ladys "seat" she smirked and laughed when the other lady was crying and denied doing anything but I know she said something.

@@miggiG33 Very true, surprisingly the rude lady who made the new lady cry was the mother of my fourth grade teachers mom, he was my favorite elementary school teacher and was the only one that cared enough to stop my sister from bullying me, she hated him but he taught me the value of treating others how you want to be treated and not letting others walk all over you just because they're older than you.

I had a Mgr who told a story about diving into the cooler when a server was too effed up on pain pills and biffed it on the line. He couldn't be seen laughing his butt off but he said it was too funny and he couldn't hold it back. It was a pretty effed up situation, she broke her wrist and her elbow, but she was one of those obvious methadone junkies who couldn't work sober. I wasn't there, I just heard the stories. She did get 3 weeks of for her trouble tho.

As a fellow pizza guy, our walk-in is like the Ferrari of freezers. It's not soundproof either. But we don't pass judgement. What's said in the walk in, stays in the walk in. It's awesome.

Being in medical and patient facing, the safe space where everyone can vent when there’s no patients around IS soundproof. If you think you heard something, you’re hallucinating. It’s usually the med room or the break room

It takes collisions that would have injured your toes like a champ, never slides, absorbs walking impact well, and feels comfy. I swear I'm not being paid to say this. 😅 I just really like Crocs.

In pharmacy, it’s the supply closet. At least once a week, I would shut myself in the supply closet and everyone would hear a very muffled, “FUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK!” People are dicks about their food and their meds.
