Y'know when you started showing off all the cool stuff Devil could do in later games I got real excited. "Wow, look at all this stuff they could pull from!" And then we got to the X Dive fight.

Missed opportunity for him to speak in 'bumo' and also melt upon defeat like in Powered Up.

What a dissapointing devil. They could have added so many other attacks from its other incanations (Dark Moon from V, Shadow Devil from X5, and Yellow Devil MKIII from 11 just to name a few) and made the battle so much more fun. It also leaves itself open for much longer than most devils, which is a double-edged sword; the battle doesn't drag on for as long, but I think the window could have been just a little bit narrower.

People saying that X Dive battle is too easy is really stupid to me. I mean, if you are overpowered with levels then yes but you are all forgeting that the MM1 version was only hard because of the small room, if it wasn't for that, that battle would be also a joke to beat.

Yellow Devil also appeared in MegaMan 8, MegaMan & Bass and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and another games, of course... (example: Game Boy games)

Yellow Devil is what happen when you put a Megaman 1 boss into a Megaman X game with all the mechanics respectively remains. It's easy af. Like let's be real here, the yellow devil in most of Megaman games are hard not because his pattern is mind boggling insane or anything, he just hit real hard and movement in the classic series is nowhere near as nimble as the X series. Hell, crouching already kill two third of his pattern. Now a Yellow Devil + Shadow Devil duo in Jakob tho...

Maybe looks easier, if they're playing with a controller, but a lot of these videos are folks that are pretty versed. I remember Bospider/Magma Dragoon/Byte looking like pushovers in these videos too. Reality is different when you get there , especially if you're a touchscreen player. Bospider actually speeds up at 50%, but usually most folks will wipe out most of his health by then. Also, you do need to be on the ball for the jumps with the higher blobs. kinda like in X5, yeah you can duck but.
