7 жыл бұрынRecorded in August of 1979, YMO was the opening act for The Tubes. This is the video clip of the first song in their set, "Behind The Mask," written by band member Ryuichi Sakamoto [坂本龍一]. I modified it by inserting subtitles of the lyrics and stripped the video's original audio and replaced it with the audio from the audio CD release of this live performance...

Very talented musicians & composers left us 2 months apart in january an march at the same age. RIP Mr. Takahashi & Mr. Sakamoto😢... you gave us all a taste of early electronic music when we were young. Thank you so much for being with us😎

同期演奏であってシーケンサーでの演奏はこの曲だとイントロのペケペケ音だけで後は腕で押しきるって言う初期人力テクノの王者。 まぁクラフトワークの方が機械的ではあるけれど、ある意味できない事は開き直って人力でやってますよっていうのを可視化した人たちなのでコンセプト(人間らしさを捨てる)は放り投げてライブはライブでそれなりにグルーブ追求しているのがいいですよね。

YMO est fantastique, ce n'est pas un groupe comme les autres mais une organisation d'excellents musiciens, ils nous ont amenés très loin dans des terres lointaines, des villes lointaines, des espaces lointains..avec une musique si proche, le futur était proche ...un peu grâce à YMO.
