Adrian takes his 420 renegade with Joel out in Western Port after hearing whispers of yellow tail kingfish caught off Hastings.
While the Rip in port Phillip bay had been firing for the kingfish, the boys decided to fish away from the boats.
The boys work hard to catch bait and get caught in a nasty storm.
Despite the storm they continue to fish in search of the mighty kingfish. #fishing #yellowtail #kingfish #tuna

What sort of rods/ratings were you guys using?

We were using pe4 rods with 10k Saragossa reel, 40lb braid with 80lb leader

I think they were 140 gram flutter jigs
