Milky Way? I only saw it once in the 1960's. Where is this Seneca lake? Seems like a Window Area for such phenomena which is anything you can think of. What we call "faries" and monsters of any sort and large glowing balls of light. What were making those "animal noises" across that lake. You don't make enemies with the faeries.

As someone who has taken hour long walks along the Albany Pine Bush trails for years I've never seen nor heard anything remotely unusual. You're lucky to see a deer or a wild turkey more than a couple of times a year. Supposedly there might be a coyote or two but I've never seen one or their tracks.

We could set up a cryptid organization private or governmental. Not with normal weapons either. These are not normal animals in the least. Though we need to treat them depending on what they are. Those "people" we may be able to contact instead of destroying.
