Actors are good but the story feels a little unfocused and the characters are unrelatable, you kinda just watch with no real investment. At least that is how it felt for me in season 1.

There are very few shows which feels like seeing real life person, emotions, not extra ordinary things, not over the top action, this show is one of them... Don't have second thoughts, just give it a try. It's amazing.

1883 was really good. Haven't seen yellowstone. I just read somewhere that 1883 is a prequel to it..I had no idea until after I finished 1883 lol

I don't watch tv, so am late to the game (I found the DVDs at my library). I was addicted from the first half hour. The best series since "Justified," in my mind, and as full of twists as "The Black List." Riveting, dark, startling, heartbreaking, sweeping, triumphant, majestic, haunting, glorious!

100%, if u have watched Sicario and Hell or High Water, the writer of those 2 films writes and directs a film called Wind River, absolutely incredible film, my favourite of his films

Any Longmire fans recommend this show? Just finished all 6 seasons and I want more. Looking for similar shows. "Justified" pilot was okay, heard it gets better, and many think it's better than Longmire, which sounds promising since I loved Longmire. Might try Yellowstone though, always liked Costner's westerns.

The traditional image of ranchers and cowboys as wholesome, good ole boy, All American heroes, is certainly blown-away by this series, which shows almost everyone as psychopathic or otherwise depraved. Frankly, I need to warm to at least a few of the main characters, so actually found the series quite disturbing and unpleasant.

@@niamcfoy1662 if you like long more you’ll like Yellowstone, if you like the structure of breaking bad you’ll like Yellowstone, if you like red dead redemption you’ll like Yellowstone, and if you look at the decor in a bass pro shop and see an ultimatum of beauty you wish could be reached on a property of your own than you’ll like Yellowstone.

I watched 1883 but not yellowstone, and it's kind of interesting now in 1883 some fat old indian pretty much gave them the land. He's just like "oh, yeah, it's over that way. You can have it, just let us hunt there please". Like you would think things could have gone so peaceful after that lol. There was the weird line where he said "in 7 generations my people will try to take it back" I was like ...wtf that was a weird thing to say, but looks like that was like a reference for those who saw yellowstone already.

Yooo this series , first I was thinkg here he is dancing with the wolves but just in series. Then I realized it's like a Legend of a fall just longer .If this was an option to live I would go live this every day for the rest of my life. Thia way of honour , character and just life is something that is gonna go forever into history in few years. Tw show is awesome , actors and everything . Wau wau wau ❤
