Yellowstone Tour to Old Faithful by Snowmobile - January 3, 2023 (@West Yellowstone)

Жыл бұрынLots of snow! Our snowmobile tour into Yellowstone was great. Fast Snowmobiles, cold weather, lots of Bison, Swans, Coyote, a Wolf (far away), geysers, hot springs, mudpots, and steamvents and Old Faithful (yes its has its own call out :). The blue skies of yesterday transformed into snow showers giving a new level of adventure.
Our Tour was scheduled thru Back Country Adventures in West Yellowstone. They did a great job on Snowmobiles, some warm winter gear, and our guide was fantastic..

did this in December 2023, it was awesome. It was freezing cold in the morning but gets warmer as the sun rises. We saw 2 bald eagles and lots of bison. Highly recommended!

Very nice thank you . I've seen movies of Yellowstone where there was eight to twelve feet of snow . It's pretty dry right now . And cold .

Nice video, Heading there mid-January with a group of friends. 1st time for MT but have snowmobiled before. I hope the gear you can rent is good ? We staying at faithfull street inn 👍🏻

Some of the bison looked tired and hungry....hope they can find enough to eat till spring thaw

cool vid! We snowmobiled to Old Faithful the last year before they required only guided tours. Some beautiful scenery! Did you get a permit to film in Yellowstone? I heard a new law requires KZfaqrs to have a permit for each video. It's stupid but that's the new law.

I believe we covered about 67miles on the SnowMobile. We started into the park about 9am and left the park about 3:40pm.. So basically the tour took most of the day.

Can you reach to thumb greyser with this ? Did you board it from the west entrance ? How much does is cost for the fuel apart from the snowmobile rental

@@Ashish-nd3xj - I don't believe our tour stopped at Thumb gleyser, but you would have confirm with your snowmobile company or request it. Yes we started from West Yellowstone and we had no fuel cost, it was included with our rental/tour.

The guide should have told the riders not to scare the bison and make them run. There isn't a lot to eat with the snow cover and they need to conserve all the energy they can.
