the idea itself is based on an exiting program , kpop stans need to review what they call original in content like this, it never is and honestly i didnt watch svt one yet , but this gotta be the most boring dream content i ever watch

Carats & Cubic need an explanation from SM Entertainment for these questionable similarities between GOING SEVENTEEN 2021's episodes 27-28 (also known as EGO, published in October) and this DREAM LOOP episode. As far as what we are seeing, the outfits are strikingly similar (white scientist lab suits), the storyline resembles GOSE's multiple clones/personality plot, as well as the puzzles throughout this episode. This content has never appeared throughout Kpop entertainment shows before, and that's why we are raising the doubts for content plagarism. SM, please take this into consideration as surprisingly similar contents and formats between GOSE and DREAMLOOP has been observed many times throughout the fandom; with the GOSE episode having aired before the corresponding DREAMLOOP episode.

I don't think it can be called original. I have a personal thought that other group may have made it with a feeling similar to that of an entertainment program called Great Escape. Of course, it may not have happened in k-pop, but I don't think it's necessary to go so far as to ignore the originality and efforts of other idol groups. I just want to be immersed in it and enjoy watching it. And when it comes to costumes, both idol groups are in the story of being a test subject, and the test subject usually wears white clothes. But even personal cameras are almost the same, so I think you can say plagiarism enough. It's a pity that it would have been nice if the person in charge or the company had considered this part. This is also my personal opinion, so I hope you don't fight. 나는 독창적이라고 할 수 없다고 생각한다. 타그룹이 대탈출이라는 예능 프로그램과 비슷한 느낌으로 만들지 않았나 하는 개인적인 생각이 있다. 물론 k-pop에서는 일어난 적이 없을지 몰라도 타아이돌 그룹의 독창성과 노력을 무시한다까지 말할 필요는 없다고 생각한다. 나는 그저 즐겁게 몰입해서 보기위함일 뿐이다. 그리고 의상에 관해서는 두 아이돌 그룹 모두 실험체하는 스토리에 놓여있고 실험체는 보통 하얀옷을 입게 된다. 하지만 개인용 카메라까지 거의 같으니 나는 당신들이 충분히 표절이라 말할 수 있다고 생각한다. 이 부분은 담당자나 회사에서 고려를 해봤어도 좋았을 것 같아 아쉽다. 이 또한 저의 개인적인 의견이니 싸우지 않으면 좋겠어요.

This episode is very similar to GOING SEVENTEEN EGO ep 27-28 which published on October 2021. As far as I see the outfits, the story line are pretty much the same, I wouldn’t assume this is plagiarism yet but this is definitely are way too similar to GOING SEVENTEEN. And this type of content are definitely the original idea for GOING SEVENTEEN, it LITERALLY NEVER HAPPENED IN KPOP BEFORE. This is literally outrageous, this is disrespect SEVENTEEN AND GOING SEVENTEEN HARD WORK AND CREATIVE :") We need an explanation for this!

We, Carats, need an explanation from SM Entertainment for these questionable similarities between GOING SEVENTEEN 2021's episodes 27-28 (also known as EGO, published in October) and this DREAM LOOP episode. As far as what we are seeing, the outfits are strikingly similar (white scientist lab suits), the storyline resembles GOSE's multiple clones/personality plot, as well as the puzzles throughout this episode. This content has never appeared throughout Kpop entertainment shows before, and that's why we are raising the doubts for content plagarism. SM, please take this into consideration as surprisingly similar contents and formats between GOSE and DREAMLOOP has been observed many times throughout the fandom; with the GOSE episode having aired before the corresponding DREAMLOOP episode.

We, Carats n Cubics need an EXPLANATION for this. This is very similar to an Going ORIGINAL series called ‘Ego’. Please respect Going Seventeen production team and SEVENTEEN members who worked hard for the content. Mingyu had to film it at 1 AM (as you can see in Ego, the outdoor was still bright in the beginning bcs it filmed during the day, and it became dark on the end of the content). We aren’t hating the members but the creative team. It’s 80-90% similar, from the outfit, the set, the filter, the plot. You can just straight copying an ORIGINAL SERIES that has CCL.

I accidentally saw the latest episode of DreamLoop and I didn't understand why it has so many similarities with Going Seventeen's Ego series. It can be seen that the context and outfit are almost coincidental. Ego is one of the most unique contents of GoSe, so it is not easy to create another similar, let alone this episode is nearly the same. To be honest, I think the PD team is plagiarizing GoSe's content, as there are almost no details that they created themselves. If they really want to create their show, what is the reason for 'borrowing' the idea so obviously? WARNING: This comment is only directed at DreamLoop's PD team, not Dream's members. If you watch Ego, of Going Seventeen, you will see a lot of coincidences.

Can I explain this as a NCTzen? Basically this is about NCT universe related to DREAM. Details like ID card and thier number were actually had happened in NCT2020 and NCT2021 album. Also these kind of vids began since 2018, NCTmetary, and origin of NCT universe is their debut teaser storytelling about DREAM. I got the point why Carats are angry about it, but for me, the clock, all the numbers, setting that people were used by an experiment, is just the universe itself. I hope we don't fight and hope carats understand.

This episode of DREAM LOOP is extremely simalar to GOING SEVENTEEN ep 27-28 [EGO], which was first released on October 20th of the year 2021. As far as I see, the outfit, the settings and the storyline are almost the same. This content is originally came from GOING SEVENTEEN's staffs and SEVENTEEN themselves. No other group has a content like [EGO]. I definitely don't blame NCT DREAM for this, also I wouldn't assume this as plagiarism yet but CARAT really need an explanation from the company or staffs because there are too many similarities between DREAM LOOP and [EGO].

Dreamzens, there is no need to guilty about this content towards the other fandom... They can't do anything about it since it's not really that "rare"... The outfits? All white outfits can be seen in Sci-Fi movies where patients are being experimented... They didn't invented that... Also the set-up? What do they expect if the setting is about experiments? Of course there is corpse... Their idols even just copy The Great Escape concept really well they just added a new plot so why can't NCT Dream do experimented concept with another plot... The plot on this video is about being stuck on time, in their DREAMS... TIME and DREAM is not new concept to NCT we even have the concept of Time for Resonance album(2020) and Dream for Universe album(2021)... I don't know about you but there really is no need to feel bad about this... I really don't think they can claim this as plagiarism... Just enjoy the content...

Look, we just want an explanation. This is almost identical to a GOING SEVENTEEN episode, "EGO". the concept is literally the same, not to mention the outfit, the atmosphere... they are oddly similar. no hate to the boys though, we believe that the producers of this Dream loop episode are at fault. Edited: Yes, the escape room concept has always been popular among South Korean's variety shows/ idol groups' own entertainment program. I believe that many groups have done this before, SEVENTEEN too. They did episodes like "The Tag", "Bad Clue" and "SVT Escape Room" back then and in my opinion, they are similar to the concept of "escape room". However, I think that the whole 'test subjects, experiments on human body and replicant' x escape room concept is VERY unique in K-pop & SEVENTEEN is the first one to do so. Not to mention the creepy details, the horror atmosphere... which makes me feel something's off about this. We want an official explanation and maybe, some credit to the GOING team. And I understand that it will not be the boys' fault but the producers of this episode if it turns out there's a problem.

I am honestly happy that not just fans but people in the kpop industry themselves love gose and take inspiration from it and that's amazing, gose is an amazing series but taking away someone's ideas, work, efforts, team going works very hard to create these contents so just copying it and putting it out there without the rightful credit is just unethical. I think if they had mentioned it anywhere that this was inspired by gose Ego which is a going original (a true masterpiece if you ask me) no carays would have mind, we would love the shout out, the recognition but this isn't right. The production team should speak up and answer to carats question and their frustration. I know my lovelies already know this because carats are the cutest loveliest fandom ever UNTIL a limit is crossed ofc, nonetheless do NOT, I repeat do NOT throw criticism to any of the members and acknowledge their work in the episode but also ask questions to the production team. They don't play a part into whatever that heppens so they don't deserve the backlash

I am an nctzen and carat too.. and I have never watched tvn's great escape show so I don't know about that but as soon as I watched the first few scenes, I could find resemblance to gose "ego" episode because of the storyline, cameras on the neck, similar clues. But it's not dreamies fault so I am just gonna enjoy watching them afterall they have their own approach to solve the case. It would still have been nice if they used something original. Nct dream is more than capable of making any show fun. GOSE IS AN ICON 🔥

This episode is really similar to GOING SEVENTEEN EGO EP 27-28 which were released in October 2021. The outfits, storyline and many pieces of stuff that appeared on the scene are pretty much the same. As far as I know, this is an original series of GOING SEVENTEEN and this type of content NEVER appeared before the creation of SEVENTEEN and their production team. I don't put the blame on NCT and NCTzen, but I hope that NCT production team could consider and realize that they are taking advantage of others' hard work and creativity. We need a clear explanation and possibly an apology for this situation.

Some are saying that the costume and the self camera placing was the same and I think there's no problem with it the costume I think it's a uniform? in a research facility or something while the self cam it is natural that it is placed around the neck in front of the chest. The story plot, the idea and how it is executed that's the problem here because it is crazily similar to GoSe's EGO. Anyways SM or the editors at least explain why since ego was claimed as Going Original Series. GoSe editors never put that label in any other of their contents so I think they made it clear that if someone wanted to use it at least give some crediting. Anyways I love how the dreamies did this esp. Renjun and Jisung's team. This is not a fandom war or something Carats are just concerned with the editors and giving credits.

Since you're the only one I saw who was being reasonable here can you enlight me about this? I'm a cartzen so I can't just take sides. Here me out please. The plot of the dream members is them waking up from a dream which is NCT's whole concept since 2016. And this plot that you find yourself in some place like hospital or cementry and figure out that you are part of an experiment and you need to get out before you die is just a common plot for escape room I went to 3 escape rooms with this concept in my country as well so are they all copying each other? The room designs also have nothing alike besides the corpses which again is just another popular thing they put of literally every escape room with this concept. PLEASE if I'm wrong tell me.

@@dncm5405 what you said makes sense... Maybe it is too early to claim that this content was drawn out from EGO since this is the fist ep. So, I think (this is just from my point of view) the cause why this content seemed to be similar with EGO because they woke up and found out bening trapped in a research facility that experiments on human's body. That no matter how they try to escape they just find to do so which is the story plot in ego then in ego we found out that tge clones was the ones trying to escape and the murderers are the members themselve. So, of course with this kind of plot the settings and props might really be the same. But the thing is, the creators and editors of Loop picked the same plot that ended up some carats feel like it is from ego. But I really hope that it is just coincidence that the creators and editors picked a research facility themed escape room. Tho there still differences like in ego someone was following them trying to k*ll them and the highlight of that episode was it was just the members k*ll*ng their clones. Since this is just the first episode of loop I hope there's a difference on how the story goes by. Cuz if this content would ended up one member was the culprit then that's definitely from EGO. I hope what I said make sense😭

I just want to thank all the carats in this comment section that took the time to write such well thought through and respectful, productive feedback instead of simply spreading hate and bashing everyone. There is so much useless hate spread in the k pop fan community, you guys truly restored a bit of my faith in humanity ❤️ A friend of mine is a big carat and told me the fandom is great. I always loved seventeens music but felt a bit overwhelmed by the number of members (which is a funny thing to say as an NCT Stan, I know 😂) but I think I really have to get more into this fandom and their content now! Also thank you to the czennies in this comment section who as well highlighted the admirable behavior of carats and support them. @@paulamusik2509 You can start with playground episode of going 2019 n maybe after that you can watch don't lie episodes it is a mafia game series one of the most famous episodes it has 4 seasons as of now n they r going to release a whole series of it tbh it will take u few days to learn every member but once you know them the group will look small even if any 1 member is not there😇

Renjun is so smart. He just look at the things inside the room and he already knows what to do with them. Also the first clue that they got, after he reads it he already have an idea on how to solve it. He also knows what to do first and what's next so everything is detailed. Other dreamies don't have any idea on clue/s that they got but renjun just naturally know it like his brain lighten up like a bulb. Renjun is not that brave when it comes to horror theme but he must be there to solve the cases because without him, i don't think they can pull off that kind of theme. Of course other dreamies are good too and they make it entertaining. Kudos to writers, you did a great job and this is such a dream vibe. Another thing, thank you for teaming up our universemate rensung 👏

캐럿분들 속상하겠지만 엔시티 멤버들은 욕하지 말아요..이렇게 비슷하게 연출한 자컨팀의 잘못이지 열심히 촬영한 멤버들 잘못은 아니니까요!😔 시즈니분들이랑 캐럿분들 싸우는거 원하지 않아요 너무 서로 까내리지 말자구요😢

Amazed by Renjun's quick thinking about getting the solution to change color but also worried how he was holding those test tubes up to his face 😭 but anyway, it was smart of him to think of that idea! And the way Renjun and Jisung were so excited about solving the puzzle was so endearing!! 27:06 so cute the noises they made 🥺
