This hits harder bcs Soyeon was applauded by her talent back in the idol show she was in, but would get ridiculed bcs of her looks, people used to say she wouldn't make it bcs of her looks. So she really became very self-conscious.

ngl that's why it worries me when she goes around saying "I just need the one who will love me nothing else" like low self esteem can pull some bum ass men and abusers. I know it's hella para social and she can handle her own life but it lives rent free in my head.

"'Why am I not her?'.... That person probably hates themselves as much as you hate yourself." Yup! In the video, Soyeon wants to be like the other girls, but you can see that they're all suffering in different ways. Minnie is a super successful influencer, but she's lonely. Miyeon is sad this dude doesn't like her. During the party scene, Yuqi is insecure that Shuhua is abandoning her for new friends...... I'm really excited to see how they wrap up their story in message in Queencard.

My theory is that this is what happened + queencard before Tomboy. The "tom.boy" dude both dated Miyeon and Minnie's character in Allergy and in Tomboy during the motion picture of barbie dolls, it was Miyeon and Minnie's dolls who gave him a goodbye kiss.

I thought the same. It makes sense considering the music is so personal. Otherwise it would just be backwards on the level of personal growth. Also what I found interesting is the use of pink in Tomboy. The video/actual song starts in a pink room. like something in "Barbies Dream Appartment", but with a bit of edge already. The first chorus with the pink outfits, which - no shade towards the designer - reminded me a lot of the simple Barbie outfits you could (no idea if that's still a thing) buy which included a bunch of clothes, but again with some edge with the black spots and shoes etc. And this transitions into the black outfits for the second chorus. They - so to speak - went from "being dolled up" to "business". Just something that caught my eye and which makes it funny to me if people now complain about the "I would rather film a Tik Tok" line, bc in context it could just mean: "I hate Tik Tok, but I rather film a Tik Tok than waste anymore time on you." which leads to poison cake and the whole kidnapping and maybe murder business. But also maybe I'm just reading into it.. who knows 😁

This video actually shows that each of that girls wishes to have smth more, to be someone else, like I was envious of girls who looked good in baggy clothes while they probably looked at me in heels and thought I was confident and all while I thought it were them who were confident. Also I wish I was smaller in height while my friend wishes to be taller and I hate the fact I’m the tallest here in my friend group. But these things don’t matter when you love yourself. I have days I feel great and being proud of being me and days when I wish some things I’m not

This is a prologue to Tomboy, right? I just realized that when he pointed the tiktok thing. Here, mc hated tiktok. But when mc moved on to "tom" she said she'd rather do tiktok than go back and forth to their relationship. That's when they drgged him in the end and they hang him, and was it minnie and miyeon who kissed the doll, am i right? I don't know if im making any sense. This maybe right, or wrong, idc. But ik they're all connected. I just wanna say SOYEON is a genius.

that's the point, this was like a presequel...the story goes in this order aIIergy - queencard - tomboy - nxde....in tomboy, she said she would choose to play tktk (something she hate) than going back and forth with someone that isnt worth it....
