gidle is one of the most versatile kpop groups i’ve ever seen! they’ve done so many concepts and aced every single one. i love how soyeon didn’t end up getting plastic surgery done at the end to convey the message that you’re beautiful just the way you are. i also love how they use references like kim kardashian and ariana, and hype boy in allergy

For what I understood, in Allergy she wanted to do it to be like the others, but after the story of queencard she saw that she can be beautiful as she is and then woke up before the surgery. That's why there are so many good messages in the end of the mv.

their comeback this time is actually so emotional for me that i'm crying my heart out... the fact that they encourage us at the end tells us how much they know that most of us have insecurities of our own about being pretty, lovely, sexy, basically being "perfect" on certain POVs and the urge to be reborn as "the better person." rather of saying "you should be you", they said "i feel you" instead, to tell us that each of us have rights to embrace our insecurities.

When you asked me what group has done their concept change successfully. Gidle is my immediate answer. Their music has matured at a natural pace as they've matured themselves. No sudden whiplash concept changes. They've done it in a way that just feels right. I love this song so much

For those who are confused on the storyline: In Allergy, all of them have their own insecurities and Soyeon wants to be a queen with the other members. In Queencard, she turns herself into everyone, to every member of G-IDLE then she realizes each one of us can be a Queen, she doesn't need to change herself because she's already a queen despite our own individuality. And insecurities? we all have it, she describes it as an allergy and loving yourself is the only way to cure it. I FEEL YOU. Also these references are from the movies, music videos and people we look up to, and we don't need to be like them. Let's break the stereotype.

And they make a song for it, lyrics are on purpose. The lyrics were made through the form of a queen chess, they were criticized for bad english and twerking and unfair line distribution and rap parts before. So they released a comedy song about being a Queen and a slap for those criticisms, they know people will criticize them for all of it but whoever or whatever they are, the talent and individuality remains then they are still a Queen. IDLE are known for their message, and they are only for smart people not like you

I really love the ending of both Allergy and Queencard..it send us a strong message if you really analyze it..at the end of Allergy the doctor says "when you wake up you will be a queen" and at the end of Queencard when soyeon wakes up and realises she's a queen just as she is...and on a personal note, whether someone had ps or not, i believe you are at your best when you love yourself

I feel like this song should be heard by every person whether teenager or adult since everybody has tried to change themselves at some point to fit in. I just love how this song is both mainstream and unique at the same time, how the girls are stylish and alluring, but also effortlessly funny and a bit wild in the mv, how they, once again, showed no fear of exploring and presenting a new meaningful theme and concept.
