Can you ride 200+ miles with the stock seat? Does it feel heavy at lower speeds? At 80ish+ mph is there a buzzy feel? Average mpg?

sorry for this late reply. I rode the bike from NYC to ATL Georgia without any issue. At 80 miles per hour, the bike handles extremely well. The seat is great, heated front and rear. It is a heavy bike just keep it balanced and you should be good. I truly love it. I was all sport bike, but once i got her the other bike sat for nearly two years before i sold it. My take, better than a Harley.

I loved the bike, but it's air cooled and was very hot in traffic.mpg was around 34 miles a gallon. I traded mine and got a gold wing

It is a hot bike. I'm averaging about 39-41 MPG. What keeps me from trading her in is the aggressive face

Nice bikes, it's a shame they were a flop. Yahama is ceasing production of it after 2021 I heard. I think the front end was a bit much in the style dept and the dumb idea (IMO) of dumping the previous water-cooled V4 to go to a V-twin, was a bad idea. I own the previous generation a Royal Star tour deluxe and the V4 was a good motor, reliable all day long. The restyled Royal Star like yours just didn't sell well. If you go on cycletrader, you'll see bikes as old as 2019 brand new still on the floor for sale. Plus side, you can get a great bike like yours for a great deal.

I had the 96 RoyalStar...Great Dependable Bike...Its not the engine of the new Venture/Eluder or the styling that didnt cause it to be a great seller...Price was its problem...It was the same price at the HD SG/RG standard and the Indian Challenger....The only people who would consider it are ones that love the Vtwin torque and know about the relibility of the Yamaha Star Line of Bikes

I cannot answer that as I have the Star Eluder and my buddies ride Harleys. If I had to pick now I would say Star Venture because the new Gold wings are automatic, I love my manual gears.

I am 5'11, 185 lb and I must say the bike is comfortable. I rode 16 hours, one entire day from NYC to Georgia without any pain. The drive is great. At a speed of 50+ you totally forgot about the weight of the bike. It is smooth, no rumble, lean without problem etc. You will enjoy it. Thank goodness for cruise control 💪🏼

The stock is great, loud enough that people will turn their heads. I just wish it had more speakers, well mine has two, I have Eluder. Venture has more gadgets and gizmo
