I think too many people searching for perfect Camera(on paper), but most of the cameras are pretty decent especially the ones that released on recent years~ I think ZV-1F is even better if you plan to use it as a vlogging camera, since Sony design it for vlogging purposes! Yes, I will definitely try more black and white photography! It's so different than shooting in color; in black and white you need to search for the contrast.. My eye isn't as trained to perceive contrast and think in black and white, so…this will be in my challenge list !

Yes I did edit these photos! if you are looking for unedited or colour it can produce straight from camera, you can check out my video “ how I get cinematic look STRAIGHT from camera Sony ZV-1F” I tweaked the white balance to achieve the result.

Indeed Canon has really good colour..I think depending on which you will lean more into- vlogging or photography, and the look of the camera like which camera will give you the urge to bring it out. (Which I think is the most important thing!)

I thought I’m the weird one using it as a street, I’m glad I’m not alone!! I have been using the wide angle lens on and off, If you ever consider using it for videos with steady shot, this wide lens will be beneficial as it crops out some extra space compared to the original lens, providing a wider point of view with stable footage! So far I have only shoot with Black and white straight out of the camera in the creative look. but that’s a look name FL and it seems pretty solid for me, might try it next time !

get it ! bear in mind The lens converter will create some RGB at corner of the frame, ( which mean its not as sharp) but personally i like that look !

I have never used the Canon G7 series before, but based on the specifications, Sony seems better overall. But other than spec, I personally prefer the Canon G7 design more. Design is just as important as the specs-if you like a camera, you'll be more likely to take it out with you. A camera with better specs that stays at home is useless!

20mm for street is really fresh and challenging for me ! I like that limitation it forced me think more, and be more “creative”/ problem solving. But you are right 28/35 it’s a very good street lens as well, might as well shoot some street with them next time!

@@blackframes5658 I would recommend you to bring what you have now for street, maybe it’s too big to capture people for now, but you can try to look for other stuff like, shadow colour…etc, and eventually you will gain confidence and get close to people even with big camera ! So don’t let gears stop You! I personally wouldn’t recommend ZV-1F for street tho, only if you are comfortable to get close and take photos of strangers, or wide angle is difficult to get good photos on street with the 20mm lens.

@@BroccoliBeers alternatively you can get a lumix s5 and a voigtlander 21 3.5 or 28 f2. it will perform the same. but the fact that its analog helps a lot for street

@@BroccoliBeersYou don't need Leica. Any camera that can freeze action with 1/1000 of a second or faster is good for street. If you can set it to 1/1000 on your sony, you're good.
