The first is, they could have cracked the TV's file system, found the files for the Netflix app, and changed internal metadata to modify an existing channel or create a new one. The second is, they could have connected the TV to an alternate WiFi signal broadcasted from a computer which was connected to the real WiFi. During his Journey, the audience often suffers through the main characters odd interactions with strangers and the environment, as well as his benign visions and illusions, all of which stem from his low-functioning schizophrenia. The story ends with him finding and confronting the thief, taking back his schmunguss, and having his life return to normal, where he no longer calls his medication his "schmunguss", but the Antipsychotic that it is.
