Hi I have a question. When you inherited a property together with someone else like a sibling and the property was already in bad condition, the sibling refuses to sell the property. Can you still apply for flisp when you meet the rest of the criteria?

FLISP do pay out either before the transfer is completed or after the transfer (title deeds received). I received pay out, after I got the title deed.

Hey Nicollete, you mentioned that you do need to be married/ cohabiting. Do they calculate both partners incomes if married out of community or if cohabiting? Or do they only consider the salary of the partner that is applying?

yes government employees do qualify, my niece is a nurse working for a government hospital and she qualified for FLISP.
