I love 99% of this show and it makes me laugh so much - but I’ve never liked Dorothy and Blanche hitting Rose like that. Even though the details of Rose’s comments about what Fidel might be doing sound stupid, her overall point is well-meaning. She’s trying to point out that maybe Fidel isn’t cheating on Blanche and that she shouldn’t jump to the worst conclusions yet. That does not warrant a smack from a grade book.

I agree with you, that has always bothered me! That, and the regular unwarranted put downs about Dorothy's looks! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely Love my Golden Girls, each one of them is beautiful & smart in their own unique way!🥰

Yup, how does Blanche not know it's called Spanish, they do have Mexican ppl in the South ya know.😅But considering that she is Southern and who she was raised by, I'm not surprised she has some cultural ignorance.

@@Gri03 I live in the Chicagoland area and I sometimes hear that in real life. When I lived in Cleveland, a young "educated" woman asked me if there such people called Mexicans. I told the dizzy broad to get a map. She didn't like that...😄😄😄😄😄
