The age difference in the first one told me all I needed to know! Started dating when she was 18 and he was 25...no ma'am! Turning her into a maid within a few years under those circumstances waves aaaaaaall the red flags.

The first one… if a guy was depressed and spent all day everyday in bed watching Netflix while his wife worked all day to pay all the bills then came home to a dirty ass house. Yall would be fuming saying that isn’t a real man and how depression isn’t an excuse. But since it’s a women yall act like she’s a child?

for real i noticed this trend too and thought i was tripping but yeah it seems like if a woman is complaining about her man, the man is at fault (as he should be for a story like the one in this video) but when its the otehr way around the man has to give the woman space to grow and help her or whatever

I’m sorry but I actually don’t think anything me is the asshole on the first one. Like… nowadays it’s become a thing to when your depressed, you can do nothing and it’s fine because your depressed. But that isn’t how life works. I’ve been incredibly depressed, needed medication and have had horrible thoughts. I know what it feels like to have no motivation for things. But i can’t blame others when my depression ruins their days or lives. It’s my fault i felt that way not theirs. For the very year i laid in bed doing nothing until my father finally snapped at me and im thankful he did. He wasn’t rude about it. But he said im wasting my life away and need to start picking my life back up again. (Amongst other things) and eventually I did. Is my dad an asshole for saying me being depressed and having suicidal thoughts was dumb and ruining my life and the lives around me? Not even a bit. He’s my life saver. If you are in a relationship, you’ve got to contibute. You can’t expect to be treated as if your a child still getting raised by your parent. The man worked all day, then came home to clean and cook most of the time. And yall are still blaming him for being unhappy with that situation?🤦♂️

Yes, he is. Laying in bed all day is literally a symptom of the illness, are you going to be mad at a person with asthma because they cough and wheeze? Depression is a serious disease and you need to get treated, you need to rest, you need to recover. It’s not your fault, it nobody’s fault, it’s an illness. It takes time to heal. Just like with every other illness. Being unable to do chores/tasks is not called being lazy, that’s called showing symptoms, which is expected. If your partner is suffering from illness, you’re supposed to take care of them. Not bombard them with chores. Let them rest. They will eventually get better with time, med!cation, and therapy. Don’t expect your partner to function normally until they get better. OP was clearly in the wrong, expecting too much from a s!ck person.

Commenting for the thumbnail question... my childhood best friend once told me that. I struggle with severe constant crippling depression and my friend said that wasn't an excuse or reason for not playing with her online

i dont think hes ta, im assuming its his house and he pays the bills so its understandable if he wants her to clean up at least a bit and if she doesn't then he wants her to leave
@hannarivers5872Ай бұрын
@@Itsgerbald is he supposed to just let his house be dirty all the time
@ThatFunnyGuyXxАй бұрын
@@Itsgerbald then she needs help that he can’t provide. And d she truly can’t even clean up her own mess in a house that isn’t hers (because she’s the only one at home all day while the man works) she shouldn’t be in a relationship. Depression is serious. But it needs to stop being used as an excuse for childish and selfish behavior.
