The ancients believed that the spirit would still be around the body for 3 days. That's what made the miracle of Lazarus so more important because Yahushua raised him on the 4th. There is scientifical studies done today that prove that after death, there is a unexplained phenomena that happens in the 3 days after death. SHABBAT SHALOM
