I backpacked through India for one month and never in my life have I felt more welcome or appreciated than when I was there. I could tell millions of stories, like how an entire family gave me a ride just because, how I made friends with some schoolers and their teachers in a train just because, how a girl walking out of a temple told me I was hindduist because I wished good on others, or how I was invited to breakfast by a nepali restaurant owner when I had no money left because "in my country we have a big heart". Sorry to say this, but if travelling around the whole world hasn't opened up your mind, maybe you were doing it for the wrong reasons. However, what really impressed me is that you decided to keep that bit after editing, I hope without realising how insulting it would be.

From what i have learned, Indian culture is based on core values like, Vasudeva Kudumbakam - Regardless Of The Differences In Culture, Nation Etc, The Essence Of All Humans Are The Same. Hence World Is One Big Family. Aham Brhmasmi' - My Identity Belong To Cosmos. What Ever I Do Is Not Just For My Self, But For All Living Beings. Adithi Devo Bhava - A Person From A Foreign Land Coming To Our Country Must Be Treated With All Respect And With Everything Possible - Like A God. Satyam Eva Jayathe - Truth/Righteous/Love/Dharma Etc. Anyone Who Divert From These Values Will Be Eventually Crushed By The Dharmic Wheel, Regardless Of How Successful They Look. Hence 'truth will always prevail.' These are core values of Indian culture for thousands of years. Its in the Indian blood and comes naturally to Indians. ♥️

Mumbai is just one dot of India. Even as an Indian when I visit a different state, I end up feeling like a foreigner. Seeing things and cultures I have never seen in my own state. People with different temperaments, faith, food and culture. It is magical. To sum up : A trip to just one city in India is like visiting the UK and believing you have seen Europe!

This was so funny to see apprehension about an India trip. I have only been out of my country twice (South Africa), the first was Egypt and then India twice, North and South and India honesty feels way safer than my country. People are friendlier, food is AMAZING and I was battling to find someone who didn't have a smile on their face. Another EPIC Yes Theory video.

It didnt' have to mean it was dangerous or anything bad necessarily. She knows how to travel to such countries, about bargaining, getting ripped off, how life is there. If he's never been, and especially, if he has no clue on how it is, yes, it's a totally fair statement to say it's going to be harsh for him. The culture shock will be harsh, as it was as evidenced by the video. It's not an easy place to go to as a foreigner with little to no clue.

I am an Indian who has been watching your videos for about a year and a half now. I now study abroad and I can feel the way people think of us and the stereotypes attached to us. Trust me when I say this, you just destroyed all stereotypes attached to us and showed millions of people that India is not a dangerous country and is nothing like what the media makes it to be. Thomas you literally don't know how much time I have ever watched this video!! This is one of my most Favorite movie not because it's from India and I'm an Indian the closing dialogues you said. You conquer your fear it will show you the other side of what it is!! Man o Man this helped me in many situations more than anything else I'm having a tough times last 2 years but whenever I'm down I used to watch this and the Willsmith video from Yes theory which will give me a different perspective of life. You guys are not only content creators you're rooted in my life in many situations which can't be explained so easily!! I could write more than an essay how you have helped in each situation but with due respect. I just wanna say.. I love you Yes Theory!!!! for making our lives simple!!!! Love you Thomas for making our India proud!!!

Western media had been too harsh towards India man ! So partiality !! Sometimes I see scenes from India in Hollywood movies, it's so embarrassing to watch !!! the problem arises when foreigners stay at cheap hotels where even middle class indian families refuse to stay for safety reasons... yes!every person in india is not as good as in this video shows ,but if you are smart you can find good people in every place. love from India.

Eh a major stereotype is the lack of caring for most road rules which is pretty obvious so I wouldn't say that they disproved any stereotypes really. There are ones relating to hygiene and all but they're true only in certain parts of the country

Those 2 guys remind me of a thing we did in Goa.. We were traveling to bhaga from Panjim after a long night in a casino. We saw 2 girls being surrounded by taxi walas, literally being harassed. it was around 2 am, we stopped and spoke to them like we had met before and thank god the girls picked it up and played along lol.. we totally acted like friends 😂 dropped the 2 Finnish girls at their hotel .. just a proud moment.. Yes, we're friends till today 👍 be good to people traveling from other countries or states .. world can be such a better place 🙏
