Haters will hate and I've found they are miserable insecure people who have accomplished nothing so they try to make themselves feel better by being cruel to other people. Mahalo for a nice stroll down Kalakaua. I thought we might be going to watch the sunset, but noooo. We were last there in 2019. We've watched it change over 40 years, coming for a month each year or ten years on the Pleasant Holiday Airpass and coming every other weekend. We miss it, but we have had more than our share. Life was good to us.

@@YestoHawaii when I first went to Hawaii in 82 I was there for a week...spread out between Oahu, Maui and the Big Island...I remembered Oahu but I hardly remember the other two islands, all I recall is the plane trip between the islands and just a very little bit about the lobby (?) in one hotel and one of the pools...not even sure if it was the same island as the hotel lol...What I remember of the hotel is that the lobby was a very dark color.. brown I think? And a lot of glass...and maybe glass pillars? The room had sliding glass doors that went out to the hotel pool that had a waterfall at the end of it..a "sandy colored" stone waterfall, and that you could walk up from the beach right to the pool...I'm thinking that might have been Maui but I can't be sure

Miriam, So glad you are back! We all missed you. You do a great job. I do have a suggestion for you. A lot of us that come to visit don’t rent a car. I think it would be nice if you shared some day excursions and maybe the price of them or ride the trolley. It would be a big help when planning our vacation. Thanks, Mary from Pennsylvania

@@YestoHawaii I think the time you have in mind is good. Any longer would be a great overestimate of my current running ability lol. As far as narrative, it really depends on my mood but I think overall somewhere in the middle for me would be best. Glad you are back - my wife and I enjoy watching your videos. We love Hawaii and its people. It’s our favorite vacation spot for escaping the winter chill of the our Midwest state. I do miss the time when the International Market Place was more like the kiosks (that can now only be found) in Duke’s Lane rather then the a high end mall it has morphed into - but then again I am old!
