Lol I would do this job in a second. This like the least scary job to me. I spent a lot of time sailing and being kn the ocean, I have no fear of this. I do have enormous fear of cars even though I drive every day. More like other people driving cars. That’s scarier than any great white, any wave and any job you will ever do. More innocent people die from reckless drivers than any other accident. Also alcohol kills something like 100x the people of fenantly, cocaine, meth, heroin and crack combined . That’s innocent people and alcoholics. We have so many irrational fears. Well you guys do. I only have one and it’s of cotton. But you guys are scared of sharks, bears, the ocean, waves, lightning, bugs, rats, bees, but will drive 95 down a side street. Irrational fear is one of the biggest Issues in developed countries right now. Once we start realizing driving is the most dangerous thing most of us will do I hope the attitude changes. I also hope we legalize all drugs since alcohol should be considered the hardest one. Did you know every hangover is ethanol withdrawal? Ya and I’ve know way more people who have frank themselves to death very painfully might I add. I only know 3 people who have ever died on opiates and they did it to themsleves only. Didn’t hurt other

And what a wonderful thing the industrial revolution was lol, the land, sea, and air are poisonous now. And let's hear it for those "audacious" suits that came up with the idea for this. Audacity means taking the bold steps for yourself, not risking others lives to achieve your goal. I'm sure those audacious folks got helicoptered in for a photo shoot when it was done but have since then never stepped foot on a rig again.

If those types of jobs aren’t performed our soft way of life can’t continue. And when a person compliments or says something nice to/about someone or group of people, that’s all it is: a compliment to them. The guy who taught me how to be a pipefitter and welder spent most of his life doing this (He was from Louisiana) . And I truly enjoy diving. Absolutely no worries here. Keep in mind that if you're on an oil rig and need a pipe fitting, you can't just put it on will call and go to get it. You're making that fitting by cutting up pipe and welding it. It can get pretty technical, and a lot of people these days just can't do it. I'm always grateful for having the teachers that I had.

$2000. A month! No way! Maybe $10,000. ? That would definitely catch the attention of many more brave souls and would definitely compensate for their families while they’re away from home and some, possibly not return to their families and home! Looks like a very dangerous place to work and these men and possibly women, are risking their lives to be out there trying to earn a good living for their families!🎉❤ much respect! ❤😊
