Battlefield games are known for their "only in Battlefield moments" and Battlefield V is no exception. These moments could be insane kill streaks, top plays, bizarre situations, and more crazy stuff that you'd never believe could actually happen in real life. It's real.
A lot of what happens regularly in Battlefield 5 actually happened in World War II, so here's episode 3 in the series revealing some interesting historical "easter eggs" in the form of Battlefield moments. Which real life Battlefield Moment is your favorite?
Tell me your favorite moments, and show me your cool clips in the comments!

@@arianas0714 Well if in formations, the bombers are easy to spot, but when the bombers are close you can get the fighters to air, but not before they have dropped their bombs, but since German raidars were good they got their planes up pretty fast to the avros and b17's. The avro Lancasters production number in all total is 7377 and over half were lost, around 3249.

Another similar story to Pavlov's House is the apartment complex on Stolichnaya Street. It too held out for months against German attack. It's featured in one of the first levels of COD2, but I didn't know it was an actual location until I was doing some research on the Battle of Stalingrad years later. The Stolichnaya apartment complex was extremely important to hold as it was an important communications center for the Soviets.

I have a story that could be for the next part. This one can sorta be done in BFV but not exactly. Its how the British combated the infamous V1 flying bombs. When the V1 first started being used, the british were trying to come up with ways to prevents these bombs from reaching their targets, so they turned the RAF. First the RAF would patrol the borders of the country with Spitfires and look out for any incoming V1s since they were the only aircraft at the time to keep up with the V1s. When a bomb was found the pilots initially tried to shoot them down, but their small size and very large explosive mass prevented pilots from getting too close and hard to hit. So the RAF came up with a more simple but clever plan, wing tipping. When a V1 was found, a pilot would approach the bomb in midflight and pull up along side of the bomb. Then very carefully would place the tip of their wing under the wing of the V1 and gently roll the plane. This would cause the V1 to tip over and lose lift, eventually making it spiral out of control and crash below in the English Channel or unpopulated land areas. The plan actually worked and even training videos and pilot guides were created to train pilots to tip the V1s. Now in BFV theres no way to replicate this but you still can shoot down or even ram a V1 out of the air.

I think a very overlooked thing that came from prior battlefield was 1942, the pacific maps always had a few options, one of which gave you a dauntless dive-bomber. In Several occasions the lack of Carrier based aircraft in the Early stages became apparent and many "off" squadrons had few to support them. In Battlefield in general there have been times when you have seen full bore a bomber/dive-bomber (Like the JU-88 and other strike aircraft do Fighter rolls), there have been several pilots in the pacific theater who have openly engaged enemy fighters with bomber/dive bombers. I can bring forward two examples, a Dauntless dive squadron was sent to assist in aircraft operations for the marines and got ambushed from behind by a squadron of A6M Zeroes with there devastating 20mm cannons, all but one of the Dauntless planes were shot down, the last plane with all odds against them (2 person aircraft, two 30 cals in the rear and one 30 cal in the nose) was forced to engage two "Zeroes" with slower maneuvering, less firepower, and because of the serious turning the tail-gunner could only watch in horror as the pilot was forced to do his best to retreat from the situation (Miraculously they came out on top and flew back to base after pulling a lot of G-turns and lasting over a few hours of flying total). Another famous incident to showcase the story of "Old 666" the crew had to piece together a bomber from the back of a runway to take on a different mission then intended "Long range reconnaissance for Naval Landing" using a camera fixed to the bombardiers sight, they changed the armament of old 666 to have it so that everyone had more firepower. All single turret 50s were upgraded to dual mounts, and the pilot and the radio-operator was given a 50 as well: total firepower went from eight guns to twelve 50 caliber machine-guns! After the bomber mission went more then 1/2 way to there destination the fighter escort had to break off from covering them. Not long after 666 became a solo bird, a massive flight of "Zeroes" dove on the B-17, a total of 17 planes. The crew did well defending themselves from enemy planes, so much so they held out the attack, shooting down a total of 4 planes, there personal casualties were most of the crew wounded, the gunner under the pilot was killed (Received Purple Heart and one more medal for being fatally wounded and going back to his position to score one more plane downed before falling on his gun), the pilot refused to give up after the attack event though he had received a hit from 20mm cannon fire that broke his arm, flew the mission, took the pictures, and flew back and landed the plane. Bombers were many times through history used as defensive aircraft and even emergency fighter groups, and some of the skilled pilots in these aircraft were transferred to fighter/strike-fighter aircraft because there skills were so value able. Its another good example of things people do in battlefield as an option to add to help you add one to the list (Or help you find other amazing options)

I hope Pavlov's House becomes an objective in a Stalingrad map in BFV. It should be like a mini Fort de Vaux and a true test for fortifications.

For me the fortifications because me my friend and the team almost wiped the entire enemy team defending one objective in grand operation with fortifications and using a train with me as a MMG gunner and it took them 10 minutes to take the point

I like the last one when they add the soviet DLC they should do a map with that building in it as a flag and a hard to capture point with its buildable fortifications

I'd appreciate fortifications more,if they lasted more then a couple of seconds before being atomized by the vast majority of assaults

You could tell the story of the Hungarian pilot who landed after he saw his friend crashland. He landed his Bf-109 near his friend's wreck, dropped the canopy off and his friend sat on his lap. The Russian ground troops were firing at them during all this and they still managed to escape :D
