This video is the perfect example of solo life man. - You kill 2, 2 more come out to finish you off - You do a lil raid with what you could scrap together, one or more tryhards from a zergbase comes steal it from you Only thing that didnt happen was you being raided by a 7 man. And only because you were in a cave.

I have only played Rust for about 15 minutes, and that was when it was in Alpha. Been watching a ton of these gameplay videos, and always wondered why more people didn't build in the tunnels. I figured with enough walls and doors, it would make it expensive and time consuming for anyone to raid even when you are off-line.

The silo caves used to be even more OP, the third level down from the top where you go through the green lit sewer area, there used to be an instant death glitch that majority of people couldn't get through, that level also has the only build spot with its own separate bucket exit. I would build in the first spot and then seal off the bucket exit spot with doors since the bucket drop has its own vulnerabilities but the first time someone comes down to raid, loaded with boom and keeps dying to the death glitch they normally would give up! Sad day when they fixed that!!

Great video as usual yexom! :) A tip for using and building in caves, its generally better to use as many triangles and honeycomb as possible while still haveing space enough for your playstyle. So i would suggest making alot of layers of triangles and squares and having ''chamber'' 2x2s that give you workable space. I usually try to put alot of bunkers in there too but its enough if you just spam triangles everywhere with doors! GL

The caves can be a bit fiddly to build in, but once you have all the access points the way you want them, you are good to go. I totally love good old "Door #2" to build in.

I am always playing as a solo and always building in caves. In my opinion its the safest way to play for a wipe because most people are completely unaware of cave bases and they can easily cost 60+ rockets to tc.

The spike jump is SO EASY once you realise you literally don't have to jump. Just crouch and walk along the ledge, its so simple.

I keep building in Monthly servers with 500 pop on wipeday in caves. Just build my double bunker and loads of garagedoors. Upkeep is so small and it costs 70-80 rockets to fully raid. Never get raided.
