you can always select to be the child, then go to one of the icons on the bottom, the personality one (the one with age) and right next to the age bar, you should see the genetics tree and it’ll tell you who “your” dad is 😇

It also happens irl since ginger hair is a mutation. Me and my mother are gingers and I got it from her, but my mother was the only one with ginger hair in her family. My grandmother, and grandfather (her parents) where both brunettes and so were my aunts. You just gotta have the recessive gene for ginger hair lol.

fun fact, if there is a red head on each side of the family, neither of the parents have to be redheads to get a red headed kid. As long as one relative on both sides of the family is a redhead, it works like that.
