Yiruma was a discovery for me, I started to listen to him almost every day after hearing Time Forgets, and since then I started to listen to his other songs and liked me, thrill me, and with me the night before I fell asleep with the sound of the piano.

my dad is stranded in libyan desert in the midst of a civil war with limited food and water and is running out of medication for his diabetes, my friend has become bulimic, the boy I like loves someone else, my family may not be able to pay our mortgage but EVEN after all that, I can sit in a quiet place, listen to this and feel that happiness WILL come one day, you just have to be patient, we can learn from everything. His music makes me feel hope when it's hard to find :D I love Yiruma :)

Yiruma totally takes you to a different place... Almost a trance-like state. It's amazing how one instrument can provoke so many emotions and Yiruma is great at exploiting this! One of the great pianists in my mind... Deffo one of the pioneers of New Age for me!

Yiruma might just be my all time favorite pianist. Here’s a little story... there was this girl I liked and my sister and her took ballet together, the following year they had a ballet recital, during that recital I saw my crush walk on stage and young me started getting all embarrassed😂 little did I know I was about to get the prettiest music of my life “river flows in you” I was like holy crap this songs beautiful I immediately went home and started to try and learn it. At that time I could only play the song every one can play “heart and soul” I’ve alwaysed been blessed with the gift that I can play by hear but never put in the time to actually sit down and try I learned it in around 2 days and was so in love with yiruma no homo😂 I’m 17 now I can play Beethoven’s 3rd movement now so you can say I’ve drastically improved since then thanks to yiruma I don’t know if I would’ve pursued developing my skills I think god for my gift music is truly amazing exspesily piano
