Sometimes a song comes a long and absolutely speaks to your heart and soul. This song speaks to me on that level. I can play a simplified version of it (working towards the full version one day) and my fingers just glide across the keyboard. It’s truly a healing experience.

2 years ago, I started to learn piano and I heard my grand parents in their room saying that this song meant a lot to them. So from there, I tried so hard to learn this song. Tonight is my piano concert and they are coming. I wanted them to come because I'm going to play this song and I want to know that they are important to me. I'll try not to cry but it's so hard ahhhh.. Wish me luck ahahah ! update : I was so stressed when it was my turn to play on the piano, i was shaking and i started to play with so much stress. But then i was so into the song that the stress in me started to disappear a little bit ! i finished the song and i started to cry. Everyone was applauding me and i saw my grand parents looking at me so proudly and saying it ! thank you everyone for the likes and sweet comments ! i’m happy to be able to share my little story with you ! have a good day

One day in a cafeteria, there's this keyboard a bit far away from the crowd, someone left it there probably because they're about to return it later after they eat. It was for a drama musical practice. i was sitting with my friends on the cafeteria, it was crowded like usual, everyone was eating, talking and laughing. Suddenly, a girl with high ponytail went into the keyboard and stand behind it. She then played this melody that i have never heard before. It was beautiful. Very beautiful and touching. Everyone who usually doesnt care about their surroundings, was paying attention to her. The cafeteria slowly becomes quiet. It was the first time the cafeteria was this silence and peaceful. It was really amazing. The girl was so confident and plays the keyboard as if she's in a trance. She looks very genuine. I was speechless. After she finished, people clapped really hard and praise her. It was a moment i will never forget in my entire life. It was really amazing, i could have broken into tears that day. I gathered my courage one day and ask her about the song she played, it was this masterpiece. If i hear this again, i always remember that day. It was a beautiful day.

One day, I’ll be able to play this song from the beginning to the end no matter how long it takes me Update: I did it I just played the whole piece perfectly with both hands and I’m sure I could’ve learned it in a shorter time but for me, 4 months is good enough, I practiced an hour a day sometimes less sometimes I even skipped. This is a song that I want to be played at my grandpa’s funeral. I’m trying to learn this song on piano. (I only know the easier version and haven’t learned the full song). I find that sometimes when I can’t cry or put my emotions into words that expressing it through music has been really helpful to me. You play with such emotion. Music isn’t all about skill, it’s about letting people feel the emotions you’re experiencing while playing. This is something you did in a great way
