I agree...I put them definitely up there with Godspeed you black emperor... For me they are like a happy godspeed... It’s like your uplifted in a different way to a lot of other post rock bands.. This album I can’t get enough of it to be honest... It makes me think in so much of my daughter when listen... At this time in my life this album is definitely my number one

I guess this is my first post rock album, have no idea why i was avoiding this genre for so long. It's like a window into your childhood with every single happy memory that happened to you and you fantasized about.Slightly melancholic,but in a good way,like a warm autumn day with a sun breaking through the grey sky and you're doing your kid things. It surely has a special place in my heart now. Thanks fellow post rockers!🔥

This channel (WHPR) is always my save place when I'm kind of sad/melancholic. It's nice to come back here and listen to these songs that bring back happy memories.

Wow. Had to listen it twice straight away. This is beyond beautiful and moving. Everything flows so nicely. Every instrument flows so well im this long colourful river of melodies. I wonna merry this album. Thank you for recommending to listen to this. It really is one.of greatest things ears have heard.

What a glorious album. Such good music, thats its hard to pick a favourite song - though if i were to try really hard I'd pick "A song for starlit beaches" the transition at around 31:36 is just lovely. And so are 35:05, 35:45, 40:17 and 41:20.Just so lovely. Reminds me of GYBE's monumental song "Storm". Struggling to describe in words how good this music is...

This is a great debut album (well, EP). I remember how it stunned me the first time I listened to it. After a very long wait, their second album was a big disappointment for me.

the soundcloud one isnt as muddy, but soundcloud does only stream at 128kbps so neither are great. still, both better than the god awful vinyl pressing this album got.
