We've sadly lost Jimi, Randy, Eddie and many other great guitar pioneers ahead of their time. Fortunately, Yngwie, a pioneer who created his own category of modern guitar, is still with us in great health and spirit. I think that he is in better shape than many players his junior. He has accomplished much and still has much to offer. Many of hisclassic songs are simply magnificent. Let's appreciate the fact that he is still with us and available to see his awesome performances. I am sure that his format is driven by economics and the reality of the present market. His band is great too. They have to stay in the black to tour. Thanks for posting!

lol, he's a narcissist with a KIss syndrome with all those empty cabs and amp heads ... he's nothing like Eddie, Jimi or Randy (who I saw live 3 times), they play songs and he just plays scales - not even Paul Gilbert does that. he's just a fat narcissist whose time is over, if you guys (gays) go to his concerts I can't imagine there being a lot of women in the audience .. I saw Micheal Schenker play in the Hammersmith Odeon with nine 50 watt Marshalls and nine 4*12 cabs and we all knew they were on after the PA cutout and his volume didn't change. I bet Richie is turning in his grave ( yes I know but he might as well be).

Good one! I'm guitar hobbyist since 1997/1998 since my teenage and became throught overall the Carulli pedagogy and Stratovarius live act with Timo Tolkki on my ages teenie kids on the block gigs were very rarerly almost not at all down in my home town. I got my moments I shut down my heretical business days and slow my tempo and showman like a Yngwie from our dear neiborghood western country Sweden. Good one. It's good one "getting touched" -relics appealing for marketing Yngwie is picking the plectrum in queue out from the vocals standkeep and throwing it repeatedly for his audience member. I like that a lot. Yngwie Malmsteen is one of thouse very rarely big Musicians of my decade that lasting after me. Three Chord Strumming myself, but I know what it takes and all over the business, this video cut was good repertouaire by the shown the Yngwie live show. Even they got afford to one steam machine output. LOLZ. Yngwie Forever From Sweden by his Fender Signature Stratocaster and unbelievable show-stunning knowledge how to do -good Show. Seen his live-act once in 2006 down in Helsinki Culture House. Till the End! Malmsteen is one of thouse professional acts even making good money outspitting of living, or excluding for, he is one of thous Musicians of my lifespan -cycle decade that gonna will remain Markable stamp on Human's history in guitar playing -alter episodes on history book after.

As a guitar player myself (not as fast as Yngwie, but still a shredder in my own right) I understand the need to swap out plectrums for that fresh, crisp feel, and better sharpness for runs, etc, but i've often seen him do as he did here and swap to a new pick, literally strum like 2 or 3 notes, toss it, and get another.. Sure, it could be a "bad" one, but I doubt that. I wonder if sometimes it isn't just habit and that is why he does it so often.
