All I know is when I sober up or wake up from a "weed coma" in the morning I literally hear a voice in me that says "please stop smoking". But then I see/know of people that smoke 4-5 blunts a day and still be "productive", drive, operate like normal and it makes me feel like "well hey, if they can do it, I can do it." & the cycle begins all over again. I am not them; I am me. Me tells me that smoking slows me down. I don't even complete my self care task and I overeat after im done. The younger me was all for it but as im maturing I have to be completely honest with myself and stop. I'll do it on special occasions but not make it a daily/weekly habit. I thankfully don't experience withdrawals so I can stop whenever I feel the need to and be okay. We got this y'all!

It's not for everyone. I know people who are productive high but I also know some of those same ppl say they'd be better without it but just don't want to stop. Everyone's body and brain responds different to substances. You just have to be honest with yourself. Maybe it can be a weekend or celebration thing maybe it can't . It's all about being honest with yourself. and YES YOU CAN BE ADDICTED TO WEED. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. I had 4 days of withdrawls when i stopped. Sweats during my sleep, irritaed. Once i got past day 7 or 8 i felt way better clearer mind more motivated and i haven't smoked since. Been 2 years and 5 months.

I stopped smoking weed after a bad trip when I was 17. I told myself never again but about 4 years later, I ended up smoking weed again. I smoked 24/7. From wake-up to sleep to lunch breaks at work. I failed my online college math class cause I was too high. And I just get really addicted. This happened two periods in my life. It really makes me procrastinate serious activities and want to play around listening to music and sleeping like a child. I don't smoke anymore but I know fr how it is!

I’m about a month off smoking and my quality of life has drastically improved, including my bank account. However, I don’t think I’ll completely stop smoking weed, but do it when I’ve accomplished one of my main goals. Kind of like how some people bring out their favorite aged-liquor during a celebration.

I understand the point that you’re trying to make but weed completely changed my life around bro. It got me to ask questions about myself that never would’ve been asked and made me more introspective. If you’re a lazy person weed is going to accentuate your lack of drive and ambition.

Same here. I really think I wouldn't be working out the same way I do right now without weed. I wouldn't be as friendly as I am to strangers, wouldn't be as open to new people at all. Not saying I can't workout or haven't been friendly without weed, it just makes it easier to do. TBH though, it does affect my ability to code a bit, I can get by, but i'm not doing ~12 hour coding days on weed rn.

How long you been smoking though? Weed do help you with self realization in a way but it gets to a point where it's not teaching yo u anything anymore. I been smoking weed 10 years an im tryna stop or extremely slow down right now.

Weed drains your energy. If u have big goals and are serious about achieving them, smoking weed ain't the answer. For the simple fact it throws off your biological clock. You need your biological clock working right so U can prepare for success today and execute the plan tomorrow. Can't do that sleeping all day and up all night. 😂

It's 100 percent on you, don't blame the Green if you can't discipline yourself to use it as a tool, if you use it correctly it can take you far, but if you are abusing yourself and don't have self control, take a break until you got your goals and priorities straight. Everyone is different, but you can benefit yourself with it, if it's not a bad habit

I have my insurance adjuster license & my life/health insurance license. I can admit if I smoke before/during work that I’m less productive. Ive also notice because I have been smoking off and on since 14 being sober minded is a high in itself. I make better decisions and I feel better. Family listen to much of anything is bad for you. When I joined the military it forced me to stop smoking because you get randomly tested. As much I want too I don’t. I’m successful and have acquired a lot of things people i know who smoke weed everyday haven’t. Cant say that is a coincidence. Alot of my friends and family seem stuck in life and about to retire almost 20 years later with plenty of assets, a check for the rest of my life and be able to smoke a no worries. I flipped script. Alot people already hating too it’s wild.
