I like to imagine that Veronica actually hears Heather, Kurt, and Ram's voices, and it's not just from "beyond the grave." Like, she's being followed by the ghosts of her mistakes, quite literally.

The ending was hilarious and unexpected haha, and I loved that scene where Veronica was curled into a ball and the ghosts of Heather, Ram and Kurt were surrounding her. It looked really cool. I also like how ominous and threatening you made JD

Good GOD this is awesome! Just, the little details ya know? Like Veronica's face when she saw JD outside her window. Or when the she opened her bedroom door and it was a black abyss and the ghosts pushed her in. And ESPECIALLY the freaking noose around Veronica's neck and how it tightened at the end! I REALLY got a sense of Veronica's feelings of hopelessness in that moment! Seriously this was single handedly the most creative version of this song that I have seen, great job!

Holy crap...! When Veronica saw JD's shadow outside the window I got a legit shiver up my spine, then his shadow behind her at the top of the ladder just outside...Whew... Great job. Seriously! I love it when stuff like this makes me physically uncomfortable and feel for the characters; I would frickin' love to see your animatics finished! Gah so awesome! Great work! 8D

for the longest time I thought the heather who tore up Martha's note was Heather Chandler. The high-poneytail is what through me for a sec but then I realized that was Heather Duke (she was the one in green.) but so far? this was a good way to show Veronica's parents and struggles. good job! also? I take it back! I don't like Heather Duke! She can burn in hell with Heather Chandler for all I care! but Heather McNamara is cool, I thinks she's probably the best of the three.

I really appreciate your animatics, they're the best I've seen in a long while. Your sense of perspective, panning etc is really that of a professional level, and I'd be thrilled to see them as actual animations. Occasionally the style on the regular humans frustrates me a bit, however, I think that's easily looked past when you have such a clean, creative and professional grasp on cinematic filming. Please continue making these, I look forward to seeing more Heathers animatics from you

Okay ramble on and on about this stuff: 1) I LOVE THE GLOWY STUFF! The colors give this animatic a darker atmosphere, it really helps understand the concept of the song. In you animatic for 'Seventeen', the glowy stuff made it seem magical and happy and bright, especially with the light background color. Instead, you chose a dark lavender-ish color that gave me the chills. 2) THOSE TRANSITIONS THO!! I just love the transition at the beginning with the bridge and Duke being a sassy little bish. Also I love the transition of Veronica being in that dark room with glowy spirit of whom she killed and then 'Too late! He got in.' was when she was now in her bedroom. 3) LOOK AT THAT FOCUS THING AT 1:09!!! I love how most of your animatics make sense, like when Veronica saw JD through the window.... that spooked me out... but the way you can see Veronica notice him there and it's obvious that she noticed him... AND THAT SMILE ON HIS FACE!! HOLY CRAP!! 4) You animatics are always smooth! I know that animatics are supposed to be choppy and stuff, but the movement is still amazing in the animatics you make! Although it's an animatic, I could still feel the tone/mood in the characters like with spoopy Chandler, Kurt and Ram. Also, the smiley red things on said spoopy glow spirits is SCARY and I love it! Thank you for listening to me rambling about animatics.

holy shit i just realised at the second before jd says “knock knock” the spirits wrap a noose around veronica’s neck. assuming they have fully evil intentions here, they’re probably giving her the idea that suicide was the only way out of this. and instead of actually dying veronica takes that idea and twists it in order to fool jd and get herself out of the situation for a while, without actually committing suicide. out of all the times i’ve watched this over and over i just noticed the noose (and veronica’s look of realisation i think?) in those few seconds. fuckin bravo 👏

I’m not the type to really get creepy suspenseful vibes from music alone. I know when music’s supposed to give that feeling but don’t usually feel it. But with some of the songs from Heathers like this song and Meant To Be Yours, it chills me to the bone, and that’s without the animatic. With it, it’s super cool how it matches the music just right to make it feel so suspenseful and creepy. Great job.

this is so good honestly,, this is probably my favourite animatic of yo girl especially because of how unique the scene is where veronica realises JD has shown up at her house - it's just so chilling to see him in the background and the constrictions of the people she's murdered and agahaghh amazing job

Your animatics are always incredible, thanks so much for making these! Good lord, that part at 1:09 was terrifying! Seriously, everything from "Guess who's right down the block?" to "Veronica's trying to keep him out now!" was so chilling and honestly too well done, it legit gives me anxiety the way they describe him coming closer and closer, trying to break in, like a timer ticking down. And that last part? "TOO LATE! He got in..." was just, brr, so eerie. The way they go from shouting to quietly whispering "he got in" sounds so defeated and despairing, which is probably how Veronica felt at that moment.

One of the reasons I love the musical is because of its writing of characters. For example: Veronicas mom saying her problems aren’t life and death. And even though she’s trying to comfort veronica she doesn’t fully understand her problems. She doesn’t get what veronicas going through she’s trying to make it seem like she’s been threw the same things she has but that’s not the case. you (as a viewer ) can see how much her parents care and love her and support her but simply don’t understand her world. Which most teenagers can relate to.

I prefer this one to another one I've seen because of Veronica's interactions with her parents. Here she seems much more protective of them and it's clear she knows JD is coming to hurt them than being mad at them. Yes, there's some anger there, but she mainly takes what they said as a message that she's running out of time. I can't stop watching this 😄
