Is it strange that whenever Veronica's mom says "Try me! I've experienced everything you're going through! You're problems seem like life or death, but I promise they're not!" I wonder if she ever actually DID experience this. What if Veronica's mom and dad actually went through a similar thing, but they just stopped at Seventeen. Veronica's dad was similar to JD, and Veronica's mom legit does know what she's experiencing. Like I know it definitely isn't true, she's just giving mom advice, but that's be an interesting and ironic AU nonetheless.

Y'know. Watching this months later, I just realized how much of a mimic JD truly is and how he absorbs behaviors and actions into the most extreme. For instance, when Veronica broke into his house for a good time he was like, "Oh. I can do that." And thus, he breaks into her house to describe his plans and expects her to understand. You know. Because she did the very same thing just...with different, less deranged context. Even with his father using explosives to get what he wants. JD uses the same thing, but for a more severe cause. Kurt and Ram mocking him with homophobic slurs = it being okay to kill them and cause rumors about their love for one another. His mother staying behind to die = it being okay to blow himself up. Veronica saying she wants Heather Chandler dead = it being okay to kill her. He is the perfect example of just a lost and damaged kid in need of some help and good influence. Wonderful video, by the way. ;)

idkbuthi also in the song she at that point was pushed to want to have sex with him because she thought it was her last 24 hours "to live". If she weren't in that situation, she probably wouldn't of ever had the thought to break in and fuck JD. And with no real romantic interest of jd to latch onto in the way that he did, maybe no one would have died, because he wouldn't have that next level of attachment to Veronica, and the want to destroy anyone in her way of happiness. You can't blame his actions on her because that's real fucked up, but carrying in mind the idea of parallel universes, you can come to this conclusion, much in the way you would with Hitler and if he were accepted into art school. Lmao this took an interesting turn tbh from someone that is very sleep deprived from animating the past few days.

Also, this is pretty much based on the 80s version of the movie, so if a "hot girl" who shows romantic interest in you and basically throws herself on top of you comes into your bedroom at night looking for sex then most guys would not say no.

I know, right? I actually kind of latched to the idea that Veronica's parents killed people. They were in a similar situation, and they want to save their daughter from it. I like the idea that they were involved in a teen pregnancy scandal, Veronica's mom got pregnant, her parents, AKA Veronica's grandparents, found out and tried to do something to her. Veronica's dad killed them and a few others to protect her mom, and keep it secret. Then the police started catching on, so they changed their names and appearances, faked a bunch of documents, (conveniently giving Veronica a place to learn forgery) and moved far away. They understand what she's going through, and want to help her.

I love the way they say 'smell how gangsta you are' because it just emphasizes on the fact that all of this has happened just because Veronica wanted to be cool, so the ghosts of Ram and Kurt and HC haunting Veronica saying that is them just saying "well all of this crap is happening, but hey people in the school now know you exist. oh and you're 'edgy' " Also, the way you drew the ghosts just creeping up on Veronica was really good.

Random Hamiltrash/Otaku I agree. The hamilton fam is a strong one. You dont have to physically watch it but there is a vieeo of the whole musical up and the orginal movie its amazing. You kinda wont understand the songs without the context of the musical.
