I've seriously never heard of any of these guys, as well as some of the songs they are listening to. Can someone please elaborate for me? Why does what these to say have any significance? I'm just curious because I've never heard of them before

Very big names in Indie Rock. Albums like "I can hear the heart beating as one" and "And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out" are highly acclaimed.

Metatron's Cube apparently you don't know anything about them, they are an incredible band with a huge catalog of music that will remain "relevant" for years to come. Now go back to listening to Gucci Gang on repeat. Also using "old heads" in a sentence without irony? That's so 2015.
