This video will take you on my journey doing 200 hour Yoga Teacher training in Rishikesh, India @vinyasayogashala! I wanted to do something completely different for my 30th birthday and I'm so glad I did. yttc was one of the most challenging and fulfilling experiences I have ever had! During my time I fell in love with this beautiful country and I hope to return very soon. We also had various trips and excursions which you can see in separate videos.

FYI, you know why HAWANA is performed ? 2 reasons. 1. In Hawana we put lots of medicinal plants and barks, it really create an wonderful atmosphere to start body and mind work like Yoga/Meditation. 2. More of a phylosophical reason, Hinduism believes human belongs to mother earth, monsters live under sea and gods live in the sky like heaven etc and believe they bless us and protect if we look up to them. So on special occation we communicate withe them throgh Fire. Believed that offering to fire, where fire is a media to transport to gods, also gratitude/"thanks Giving" to them. Second reason is more of a ritualistic process. But it creates positive vibes.

Correction* 2nd point. These are actually known as "Lokas" ... In Hinduism, Lokas refer to different realms or planes of existence. There are several Lokas, each with its own significance. First is Svarga, the realm of the gods and celestial beings. Then there is Prithvi, our earthly realm. The third is Naraka, a realm of suffering where distressed souls undergo punishment. Beyond that is Patala, often considered the underworld, inhabited by beings like Nagas and other entities. Each Loka holds its own unique characteristics and spiritual importance within Hindu cosmology. And there location is not like you explained one on sky and other down the earth. This is popular misconception that one make by watching serials. They exist but where are they, we cannot predict with our limited knowledge and also cannot be so ignorant at the same time that we put them in sky or below earth. Always Remember that your illogical arguments throws your Dharmic beliefs into superstition.

YOGA is not secular keep that in mind. There is nothing as Christian yoga. Every yoga is dedicated to the Hindu deities. The 12 poses of Surya namaskar is dedicated to 12 Aditya. So if u doing yoga u r paying tribute & prayers to the Hindu deities. Keep that in mind.... Just by remembering the verses of bibel or thinking about Jesus name during the silent moment of yoga u can't achieve anything. And can't change the YOGA. Read Patanjali's yoga sutras it's nothing to do with religion or worshiping gods and Yoga is for self realisation and to experience the state of Nirvana or Samadhi which is beyond samsara. So Yoga is universal and spiritual 💜

Mussorie is ver near to Dehradun &from there you can visit different places. There you will find Taxis which can be booked for a particular route. I myself went to Dhanaulty & Surkhanda Temple side. Surkhanda temple is like Heaven.

Two great things about India are the diversity and creativity. You should see Rathipushpam disco song from Kerala from the film Bheeshma Parvam which came in 2021. Then there is Di Ruk Te by Sangtei Khuptong which came in 2023 from Mizoram. Then talking about creativity there is an ad for Cadbury 5 star called 5 stars everywhere which has got 55 million views. Then there is a startup called Whole Truth Foods which made an ad called Eat Protein not Chemicals. Their chocolates don't have soy lecitin, fructose, emulsifiers and any artifical ingredients. This brand is taking on MNCs.
