He is narrating this story of how some of us is trying to survive life in US as gig workers. Hopefully viewers will have more sympathy for the gig workers trying to make it. Thanks for documenting your shifts - it's amazing to see how hard you work as a gig worker. Here in the UK, I have never seen a delivery rider using a scooter, the weather is probably a big factor in that! Seeing all the blue skies and sunshine during your shifts is great though!

100% accurate about the recession, Australia has been in one per capita since pre covid, flashy add on's are becoming really hard to justify now so I can completely sympathize. Great work on the videos friend, been off work for the last 4½ years, got to test out riding an E scooter in Melbourne and I've fallen back in love with riding around, I feel like a kid again, used to ride bmx so I'm gonna convert a cheap bike with a spare alternator and build my own lifepo4 battery bank, used to be a boily so I can weld it all up, also an idea I had while watching your vids, styrofoam blocks to help support drinks? Yeah McDonalds messes up a lot. I've ordered 3 times from them using Ubereats. The first time they forgot a Big Mac, the second time they forgot my large Sprite and the 3rd time I ordered 2 apple pies and they sent 1 apple and 1 cherry.

Just a thought but have you considered getting an alarm for your scooters, the cost is not expensive you could fit it yourself they no need to do electrical work as the alarms are self contained using batteries, I use these simple cheap alarms on my bike and scooters. They just let you know if someone moves or touches the bike, it might give you that little bit more security when parked up. You just zip tie the alarm to the scooter and when armed anyone tries to remove it or the scooter it goes off, they are not heavy and small enough to go on any bike or scooter. Might be worth checking them out.

i have never order food delivery with UberEats or DoorDash etc.. I am wonder how much the customer pays for the deliver if the driver is getting $6. Does the customer pay seperate surcharge or delivery charge and if it is $6 being paid to the driver.. Or does a portion of the delivery charge get paid through the restaurant?

I know my coffee and McDonalds coffee is the best, most affordable coffee you can get. It really is awesome coffee, puts Starbucks to shame. The only problem with McDonalds Coffee is that they get the orders wrong all the freaking time. Coffee Great, service Bad. And I cant wait for those delivery robots, homeless people will finally have a rolling fridge they can steal from and you know no cop is going to do a thing about it.
