Think chest, neck, shoulders, back body, arms and abs. Think heart space, tender, with everything going on in our world. Think counterbalance, of all time spent at the desk or simply collapsed in understandable unawareness. This session is both a workout for the body and the soul, a practice of support and strengthening. With plenty of stretch too. Join me for this blend of therapeutic yoga and traditional hatha yoga flow with a focus on the upper body and chest.. Expect some new variations of poses you may know - along with the invitation to reconnect, move slowly and breathe deeper. Let me know how this one goes for you in the comment section below! Iv struggled with a chronic external lower back tilt since I was 12. Doctors always telling me to just “work on my core” never appealed to me doing crunches and sit ups so I just didn’t. Really started taking my yoga seriously the past 6 months. For the FIRST TIME IN MY BLOODY LIFE I am naturally keeping my back straight and my spine curved how it is meant to. It’s all thanks to the focus on finding my center, it’s thanks to you, this channel, this community and dedication . Thank you thank you thank you, I can’t wait to see were my journey continues to take me but right now I am just so grateful for my body’s ability to grow. I am strong. And you are all wonderful 💓💓💓💓💓💓

I've had back problems since I was a teen. Nothing in xrays or MRI's. Yoga keeps me pain free, it's truly amazing honestly!!

Perfect! This is exactly what I need - my back is so tight from sleeping on a friend's sofa in a difficult period, and my chest too with anxiety from paying attention to the suffering in the world. I know this will do me good, thank you Adriene!

Greet day 25🎉 thank you, Adriene, I love this practice, I still haven't learnt to not do yoga late on a weekend from last month, however, I seem to have more energy these days no matter the time of day all thanks to doing daily yoga. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Still feels new to be doing this again and so👌🏾💞🙏🏾✨Build April 2024✅✨ This is so needed today...I was feeling so stiff and tense, having been sedentary for hours doing my hair and ld's hair for Easter hols. I was feeling a lot of aches & pains, esp. stiffness on my upper body and ooh! my!, those deep stretches was all worth it,, all the tense tight chest, shoulders and arms needed this practice so much. I feel more flexible, relieved and relaxed afterwards. Thank you wholeheartedly Lady Adriene and happy Easter holidays to my fellow Christian💜✝️ buddies and all practicing this just recent new practice...enjoy! Namaste☮️💜✝️💖💞🙏🏾

How lovely is was to be practicing this joyful flow with the sun shining on my face and directly into my heart space as i inhaled all of the loving, positive sunshiny energy i deserve into my blossoming chest. Build Day 07:04:04✅ So glad, feels nice to be doing this upper strength building practice again... so good for upper body deep stretch ..i had stiffness just a wk ago, this practice provided great relief, and nice chest opening...so soothing. Wow that hit all the pain points on my upper back, shoulders and neck. I can’t even begin to describe the pain I’ve felt as a young woman for the past 6 years, but it feels like I’m carrying the weight of a 50lb backpack all day, every day. I wake up this way too and probably why I’m exhausted in the mornings and during most of the day. This yoga session was really nice, thank you Adrienne

Beginner here, love this one. So slow and careful but yet deceptively challenging! I had to pause 12 minutes in to remove some layers! I'm finding I'll start a video, and stop when I can see I need to leave it a day or two. When I come back, it's more familiar and I can push to the end. Slow and steady, I've been doing this a few weeks now and still on Day 2 of the very first 30 days of yoga, stopping when I need to learn more and doing the Foundations of Yoga videos or a stretch. Can notice myself being more mindful of how I walk (even just around the house) since I started these. Thank you!

Build day 7🎉 yoga at the end of the day isn't for me, I need to remember to do it earlier when I have more energy. I've just read my comment from last month on this practice and yikes it was so different today, however I still enjoyed despite having low energy, thank you, Adriene, for this practice. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

i’ve been very focused on doing bouldering that i start to notice that my upper body has been super stiff lately. thank you for introducing this new practice, adriene! you’re a lifesaver now that my back is sooo much more flexible and light 😊

I've been recovering from a concussion and have really missed moving my body, I look forward to doing downward dogs and forward folds again, but this was a lovely practice to open up, even with modifications! Adriene's videos have been a beautiful reminder to take it slow and be patient with myself, something I definitely struggle with. Thank you to Adriene and her team for creating this wonderful community, and everyone here for being part of it. xo

My shoulders and neck have been so tight for ages, from sitting with bad posture at the computer and sleeping on an uncomfortable bed. That prone twist towards the end was incredible! I could literally feel the knots coming out of my shoulder muscles as i lay there 😂

i've been painting inside my house, which is enough work in itself to exhaust a body, but my frame is 6'1" tall, so I have to shrink myself into corners to tape and edge, leaving my right shoulder ACHIN'! Grateful for this new vid this week, wondering if there is some cosmic connection among us all, and happy to be here. Thank you!
