Brothers of the mine rejoice!
Swing, swing, swing with me
Raise your pick and raise your voice!
Sing, sing, sing with me
Down and down into the deep
Who knows what we'll find beneath?
Diamonds, rubies, gold and more
Hidden in the mountain store
Born underground, suckled from a teat of stone
Raised in the dark, the safety of our mountain home
Skin made of iron, steel in our bones
To dig and dig makes us free
Come on brothers sing with me!
Chorus
I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole
Diggy diggy hole, diggy diggy hole
I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole
Diggy diggy hole, digging a hole
The sunlight will not reach this low
Deep, deep in the mine
Never seen the blue moon glow
Dwarves won't fly so high
Fill a glass and down some mead!
Stuff your bellies at the feast!
Stumble home and fall asleep
Dreaming in our mountain keep
Born underground, grown inside a rocky womb
The earth is our cradle; the mountain shall become our tomb
Face us on the battlefield; you will meet your doom
We do not fear what lies beneath
We can never dig too deep

Started trying to get into Deep Rock Galactic. My first solo mission, I mined every resource I could find and still didn’t have enough. Spent a good 15 minutes going back and forth trying to find whatever I missed, then remembered the golden rule: We can NEVER dig too deep! I immediately dug a hole straight down and fell into a lower tunnel, which had everything I needed and then some. My point is, this song taught me to be a better dwarf. Rock and stone.

Not only does this song tell an epic tale, but if you listen to the beat, it never changes. It’s the same drumming pattern repeated over and over. In other words, it’s a work song, a song created to coordinate a task. In this case it’s likely to time the swings of pickaxes.

I'll never forget one of the last times we met up when he played it for me and we couldn't stop laughing and headbanging. I've done it by a nexus tool. I did search for "Change Music" in the skyrim's mods of the nexus website and used the first tool it appear. You can see the result in this channel, but my pc is broken af and it seems pretty slow. I also put the Renai Circulation song as the intro.

There was a guy who bought a massive area of land, because he wanted to grow an orchard or something. After buying it, he found out it was all solid bedrock. That didn’t stop him. He dug out an entire underground complex with a pickaxe, a shovel and a wheelbarrow. He put holes in certain areas so the orchard trees grow partially underground, with the leaves on the surface.

Elves live among the world, their architecture tied to nature's wondrous creations, such as building a city on top of a forest's canopy. Humans build many things, grand or small. Perhaps a luscious garden? Or a cozy tavern where like minded folks may meet and share stories of the world beyond. Dwarves dig. Their magic is just them digging away at the fabrics of reality and they dig entire kingdoms from the earth. Dwarves impose their will upon the world below. Not unlike a colony of ants, or water carving out vast canyons. They are determined, they are persistent, and they are many.
