55 touchdowns is going to be hard to beat for anyone. He had 9 games he threw at least 4 touchdowns, 2 games with at least 5 and a 7td game. Only 7 games he threw "only" 3 Or less touchdowns. Only 1 game he threw just 1 touchdown, 4 games with 2 touchdowns and 2 with only 3. That is just so hard to do. 3.437 touchdowns a game is ridiculous and a high mark that should stand for a long, long time.

No it won’t. Look at Cooper Kupp, he is inching away to break the receptions and yards record just because he has one more game left. TJ watt could break the sack record, because he also has 1 more game left. Jamar Chase just dominated Justin Jefferson’s record, Jefferson only started like 14 games and still broke the record. But Chase started from day 1, and now has 1 more game, to break more rookie records. Tom Brady is currently at 4,990 yards passing in 16 games, but due to the new extra game. He is bound to get 5,000+. Let’s be honest, with all these records being broken easily, you’ve to wonder how long this 55 touchdown passes record will hold. It’s sad to see.
@Tim_Marshall732 жыл бұрын
@@ChillHandle12 well. There have only been 2 season in which a qb has gotten 50 tds. And i find it unlikely for those 2 50 td season for them to get 5 let alone 6 tds in that extra game. I think a few will maybe approach 50 and maybe beat 50 but i still think 55 will stand awhile. Imo its the best single season record. Those rookie records, the recieving records, the rushing records, and even the passing yards record will prob go down within the near future but i still think 55 will stand awhile

@AmirKhan-rh6jj yeah he struggled with the 3-4 D early in his career. He had some crazy good games in the playoffs though. I remember the Chiefs blowout he had 3TDs. I was watching it at my friends house and he was a die hard Pats fan.

Paul Williams nah, he is the greatest qb ever, he struggled in the playoffs bc he had to be great everytime, he only had 1 season in INDY where he had a top 10 defense and he ended up winning the Super Bowl that year. Brady always had a top 10 defense, one of the best o-lines and amazing receivers. Gronk, Marty B, Edelman, Amendola, and the Pats had a great running game. Put those guys on another team and they'd still beast. Look at Demaryius without Peyton, trash. Julius in Jaxonville, trash, Decker is eating shot. He had no o-line. His average passing play was less than three seconds, that's how little time he had. In Indianapolis there wasn't a 1000 yard rusher, o-line or defense. Just Reggie and Peyton. Patriots always had the best team in the NFL while Peyton was making the team great. Brady is a great QB, but Peyton just outclasses Brady in all aspects. He fought for those two rings. Brady had the team to do it, Peyton had himself.

@gabe.91766 жыл бұрын
Marvin Harrison wasnt shit before Peyton came, he was only 2 yrs into the league and still adjusting. Manning was drafted in 1998 while Harrison was in 1996. Brady's only first round talents were moss and gronk, even gronk is injury prone asf. Without Brady, the Patriot's record are 51-65, absolutely terrible. Did you say Moss was in his prime? No Prime means the long stretch of time when a player does well, in reality his prime was with the vikings where he was arguable the most consistent receiver over a 6 yr span with one team. And Peyton got his ass carried to his 2nd superbowl while choking on the biggest stage against the seahawks. Brady had more to prove than Manning, even walked up to Kraft, Owner of the Patriots, and said that he's the best decision the org. has ever made. Manning had everything laid out to him, he played under center with a HoF caliber center, Jeff saturday. Im no Patriots fan infact i am a titans fan who hates the patriots specially in 2004 when we got knocked out of the division champ but you cant deny greatness specially comparing the numbers, doesnt matter how much you win, but where you win at ask the 2007 giants. Manning may be great in the regular season but does that matter if ur gonna choke in the playoffs? no it doesnt. Brady wins when it is most needed and thats what matters. End of story.

To this day, I would draft Peyton over brady. no question

Same here but if I'm picking between em for a game winning SB drive I'm going with Brady all day er day lol
@alanblakely2303 жыл бұрын
@@lnss8775 I don't know about that so much as I think the last person on earth you want to have the football in his hands, if he's your opponent, with the game on the line is manning. He is the type of quarterback that the offensive coordinator job is his. Everyone else is his assistant. Remember this. Defense wins championships and Payton played the majority of his career with bottom tier defenses. Tom brady for sure wouldn't have this last championship without the D because he really played shitty compared to the stats he's used to

Real question.. has a QB that broke the single season TD passes go on to win the Superbowl in that same season? Peyton was phenomenal this season, but the Broncos got trounced in the SuperBowl.
@bleachcosplay7 жыл бұрын
Nope. Marino lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 48 touchdowns. Peyton lost to the Patriots(Superbowl winners) when he broke the record with 49 touchdowns. Tom Brady lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 50 touchdowns. Peyton lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 55 touchdowns. Now if we look back to before the Superbowl era, this has happened three times (at least since 1942). Sid Luckman won the NFL championship in 1943 when he broke the record with 28 touchdowns. Johnny Unitas won the NFL championship in 1959 when he broke the record with 32 touchdowns. George Blanda won the AFL championship in 1961 when he broke the record with 36 touchdowns. Had to look up some old data for this one.

Atleast he never loss to a qb2
@IPIRIEY6 жыл бұрын
denvers defense actually got trounced. It was a crazy game for the broncos offense because the crowd was so loud that peyton had to use hand signals in the second half. that usually never happens in superbowls where the crowds are neutral. Also seattle dominated the special teams. Denver never stood a chance. they had a 4th string center and many key O line injuries and peyton was under extreme duress the entire time.

Manning was CONSISTENTLY ranked as the most RESPECTED guy in the NFL by other NFL players. You will not find a player more respected by his peers.

Tom Brady??????????????? Brady has won the #1 player of the year more times than anyone and hasn't ever gotten below #5, and he's universally known (even by Von Miller) as the greatest QB of all time

He is a coach who can dictate a win.. Colts 2011 when PM got injured won 2 games cold since left = winless can’t make it to the playoffs Denver = winless too These are facts... PM is the greatest QB ever played the game. Period....

With apologies to the others. And I mean that...Rice is probably the goat if we dont include positions. Peyton Manning is the single player who moves your win total up or down based on himself and no one else. If you don't believe me...see Denver 2012 and Indy 2012. No other player impacts a game like him
