Yohanna sings "Love Shine a Light", the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest 1997. It is the beautiful conclusion of an online radio show of the Icelandic website visir.is in April 2015.
"Love Shine a Light" is the 1997 Eurovision entrant by the UK . Originally the song was sung by Katrina and the Waves. With 227 points, they won the competition. The song was written by Kimberley Rew, the song writer and guitarist of the band.
By the way, an insignificant hint:
During the interview Yohanna has mentioned a guy from Germany with full first name and surname and referred him as her biggest fan. I still can't believe it, but Yohanna has really mentioned my name! On the one hand I absolutely agree with Yohanna - maybe I'm indeed the biggest fan of "The Most Beautiful Voice of Iceland". But on the other hand it's for sure a reason to be a little bit proud of Yohannas statement ... :o)
