Paul is a great fighter and showman. That being said , his opponent stuck to the basics and won the fight. That was not a lucky kick , it was placed perfectly. He started getting Paul's timing during the second round. Is Paul more flexible, fast , technical ;yes. Keith stuck to the basics and the basics in most situations win fights.

Paul's biggest problem is that he does not finish off his opponents. He has loads of skill and techniques, but he always let's his opponent come back into the fight. Even now years after his injury he's still doing it.
@88swordmaster5 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing, a fighter so technical must still finalize otherwise, as in this case the opponent is still dangerous. Often, it happens that this type of fighters, despite being excellent athletes, do not have the brutality that serves as a knockout.

Muay Thai is so dangerous...Ouch is a understatement
@gussk8e7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say showboating. That's just his style. He was having fun. You can see that and it was working well for him until he got caught. He didn't get caught with the kick for showboating, he got caught bc the other timed it well
@theatlantean396 жыл бұрын
It's stupid unnecessary dancing a waste of energy and a good opponent won't be fooled by it. He's acting like an ass and he paid for it. That kind of behavior should always be rewarded with an asswhipping.

To see the nose-break kick in slow-mo, start tapping the play arrow at 14:27 - 14:30. Unfortunately, the Ref was in the way. As an O.R. nurse, I'd say it's probably not as bad as it looks. Just need to reshift the cartilage and stitch it up. Still, it must've been quite a slam.
