Great video. I'll be in that area of Yokohama during my trip of Japan, so I might as well visit the park. I'll probably only ride Diving Coaster Vanish and the giant ferris wheel, maybe some of the other coasters just for the credits if they're not too expensive.

I am going to Japan for the first time this August. My hotel is less then a 10 min walk from the cosmo world. So i think i will ride coaster, log flume, ferris wheel if my friends want to, and check out its 3 arcades. And maybe a journey of fear experience?? trying to find out more on that its like a walk through or dark ride?

Been there a few times, but never really as a destination in its own right, but more like might as well walk through it while I'm there. I think the park adds some atmosphere to the Yokohama waterfront which is already a very nice area, but most rides aren't that interesting, and that coaster is better to look at than ride.

Imagine having scream indicators at like sfmm or cedar point

Have you heard about what six flags is doing when they open? They're doing reservations to get into the park and letting a certain amount of people in.

I'm really sad they closed Space World. I would have loved to hear your thoughts on that park with full scale model of the space shuttle in the middle of the Venus coaster.

I really like the idea of these mid tier kinda generic theme parks ..I almost never go to any theme parks cause they are so expensive so I’m probably never gonna go to Disneyland but a 5/10 cheap place like this yeah I’d kill a day here

Actually, the Reverchon Wild Mouse at Hirakata Park does NOT spin at all. Yes, they completely disabled the spinning brakes at the part you are supposed to spin.

Nice Review but Yokohama Cosmoworld is definitely a park that I’ll skip, never was really on my radar anyways and Diving Coaster Vanish I guess isn’t even good. Just curious, you may have been asked this before but at some point after you review the last few Japanese Parks, will you make a top 10 park list for Japan? Seems like it would be hard to do with the variety of parks they have.

It seems like not having any food places at all takes away some possible revenue but I guess if there is just no room then what could they do.

Ive been a few times... Its ok, and the diving coaster isnt really that fun, the best part is the drop... BUT the log flume does have some nice speed to it. and that spinning coaster SPINNNNSSSS!!! And The first time I went was with some friends who i was doing a musical tour of asia with and the second time was with my cast mates from the cruise ships i was performing on. The Majestic Princess. haha so the ship you show in your video actually could be the Sapphire or the infamous Diamond Princess. Also did you do the RAMEN museum that was right beside it?

While the scream indicator sounds like a cool idea, thinking about it and knowing how people love to be on top of a leaderboard... rather than enjoy seeing how loud their screams actually were, its existence would attract the type of people who would re-ride in a group purposefully trying to scream as loud as possible, and while good revenue for the park, is an absolutely horrific experience I can imagine for everyone in earshot lol.
